My parakeets love to chew on this chew toy

It took my birds a while to warm up to this thing. I have two young green cheek conures (housed separately) and they basically ignored it for several weeks....Then I came home one day to find pieces all over the bottom of the cage after one of them had finally started destroying it. He seems to enjoy slowly whittling away at each piece (and climbing all over it) and it still has a few slivers left before it's completely dead. I will definitely repurchase more so that I can put one in the other bird's cage and replace the one we've had once it's finally all gone.The only thing I want to point out that could be a negative is the string/rope these are strung on. I'm unsure exactly what the material is, but it begins to fray as they break down the different pieces. While that isn't the biggest deal, if you have a bird with a leg band, it could potentially become tangled up in it if you don't keep an eye on it. The bird the toy is housed with does have a leg band and he's never even come close to becoming tangled, but I still wanted to point that out as a warning.

Small Parrotlet loves these. They are just the right texture for a small bird.

My Senegal only spent one or 2 days chewing on it. Then he was uninterested in it. Gave it as a gift to my stepmothers Senegal parrot and he loved it. I think most birds who like to chew would love this toy.

I am truly surprised at how much our budgie likes this toy. He has the orange piece chewed half way through, and the green as well. It clearly satisfies a chewing need. I thought it was going to be hard, but it is soft enough that they can bite it and tear it apart, over time. We've had it for a few months and I think it will last at least another 6, so that's a lot of entertainment for our little birdie buddy for this price!I feel like this is a good value. I was happy to see that the colored circles are not colored throughout, so less dye getting into my bird's system.We would highly recommend this bird toy.If you find this review helpful, please click YES below! My Jenday loved this so much! It took him a few days to actually start chewing on it, but once he started, it was game over for this toy! He is a heavy chewer and it still took him about 3-5 weeks to completely destroy this toy. My one complaint is the fact this toy is threaded with rope, many birds will probably chew right through it, effectively disassembling the toy. Also BEWARE of the rope fraying, I did catch his foot tangled in it once, luckily I was right in the room with him. If I order this again I think I will go ahead and thread it onto a stainless steel chain or kabob instead, the frayed rope risk isn't worth it.

My Senegal parrot absolutely adored this toy! It only lasted him one day but Senegals have a beak like a buzz saw so I expected this to happen. It's a nice soft type of wood that almost reminds me of balsa wood and I was pleasantly surprised by the overall size of the toy. The only drawback I see is the fact that the toy is strung together on a slender twine/rope with a loop at the top. The twine could present a hazard to your bird and you will need your own fastener to attach it to the cage. That being said, my bird loved this toy so much that I have already reordered another one that I plan on taking apart and placing on a spare metal kabob that I kept from a previous bird toy :)

Brilliant shredding toy, I have two African greys edwina took to her new toy instantly which was a relief for my skirting board and patsy his keeping his distance, he's always nervous with new toys for the first few days, which is bad news for the legs on my coffee table.

My African grey loves this, just a shame it doesn't last more than 24 hours.

Von denen gibt es 5 Sterne. Macht in Summe 4.Ich würde das Produkt ehrlich gesagt nicht nachkaufen, zu teuer für den kurzen Spaß.Statt dessen empfehle ich das Kabob zum Aushölen. die Knabberhölzer hatten wir bislang immer in der Zoohandlung gekauft. Dort gibt es sie leider nicht mehr und bei Futterhaus sind sie mir mit 12 Euro das Stück eindeutig zu teuer. Deshalb hab ich hier gekauft.Unsere 4 Wellis lieben diese Teile, meist sind die Holzscheiben in 2 Wochen komplett zu Spänen verarbeitet wurden. Sie sitzen da mit einer Begeisterung dran, das es sich schon dafür lohnt, es zu kaufen. Auch wenn manche nicht gleich sofort, sich daran zu schaffen machen, einfach die Zeit machen lassen. Es gibt diese auch ohne Farbe und 2 Scheiben weniger.Also willkommene Abwechslung und zu herum knabbern, einfach genial und den Preis echt auch wert.

My parrots love these so I have purchased them repeatedly. Ironically, the smaller of the two birds (a Senegal) can destroy this toy in less than one day. Better than destroying my laptop keyboard so no complaints.
