Great adapter!
This adapter is a lifesaver! Sure USB C is the "future" but I still need my normal USB plug ins and an SD Card reader now, in the present! I've tested every USB port, and the SD card reader, and it all works perfectly! The only downside is It's kind of floppy when plugged in. But as long as your laptop is stationary, I don't see it being an issue. Just make sure you brace the adapter with your hand when you're plugging and unplugging stuff.

It’s a great portable piece but you need it in a little case, otherwise if you just carry it around as is, the input actually gets loose and then the adaptor stops working. I literally had it for ~2 months now and I have to jiggle with it to stay working. Not worth the price. Maybe for like 10$ because this is a waste of quality. Disappointed. I hope I can get my money back.

A necessity if you own the new macbook
This USB adapter comes in handy when transferring my files over to my MacBook I like that its small so i can just throw it in my pocket when I'm on the go and need to transfer video from my GoPro to my MacBook quickly. I haven't had any connection problems thus far but I do make sure to securely hold the adapter in place when I'm plugging things in and out of it

Easy USB port solution
This adapter works well with my macbook pro. Easily able to plug it in and connect my devices. One thing to note is that the hubs connector is positioned at the end of the hub so when plugging it in and out I would advise others to grab the hub at the point where the connector to the macbook is as to avoid bending it. Other than that works as described.

Brought this adapter using the 15% off promotion. It’s very sturdy when connected to the macbook because it plugs into both usb ports on the side of the mac. I mainly like this hub because it pretty much has all the ports I need. I'm happy with my purchase and recommend this hub.

Good for connecting old usb devices to my MacBook
I needed this adapter to connect most of my external devices since there are no standard usb ports on the new MacBook. It's a good simple solution for me to connect my Blue Yeti mic, external hard drive and the wired mouse I use.
