Not "magical" nor "high quality" - jaws just flop around loose
I purchased the 2-piece wrench set, hoping it could replace a wonderful wrench i had lost, a nimble; ratcheting, self-adjusting crescent wrench. These Multi-Function Snap’N Grip wrenches do resemble my former wrench in function — but they don’t work nearly as well. These wrenches are anything but “magical,” nor are they of “High Quality” as described.“Snap’N Grip” is an exaggeration — because they are not spring-loaded, like my former wrench, the jaws of these wrenches just flop around loose — you have to push them in place with your thumb or use both hands. And they are simply too big for many of the jobs i needed them for, such as replacing 1/2 inch water lines under sink faucets in cramped spaces.Even the smallest of the two wrenches is 8.5” long, which requires a lot of open space to operate. I found a smaller, 4” adjustable crescent wrench to be superior and more useful. These would be a cheaper lighter alternative to carrying multiple pipe or crescent wrenches, but their design is so cheap that the tradeoff from using higher quality tools is small, at best.- Tom Hall, Annapolis
