Great technology
These are super timecode boxes. You can plug one into each camera for a multi-camera set up, and your sound recorder, for flawless synchronisation. The smartphone app is also great for managing the set. If you have the money, I also recommend buying the Deity digital timecode clapper. This is not available on Amazon yet but shows the same timecode on the slate - very handy for film-making.It's best to set these up as permanently syncing into your cameras and/or sound recorder. You can Google instructions on how to do these for different cameras easily (I've used an Alexia Amira, Canon C70 and a Blackmagic 6K Pro fine). Otherwise the timecode on the camera drifts when you turn the camera on and off, or change batteries.Well done Deity for great innovation!
