Cheap construction
This product hung for 1 month over my bearded dragon cage, by the hanger, and both light ports have shorted out and no longer work. I am very disappointed and frustrated. This light fixture was only on during the day and hung correctly. Very very dissatisfied…

Almost caused an electrical fire
I have had this for a little over a month and love it at first. The adjustable feature was why I bought it in the first place, so I can make sure that my snake was not to cold or to hot and to adjust the temp for night time and/or turn it off. And then one day I’m smelling like something is burning but like a weird burning smell… as I am frankly searching where this smell is coming from and about to call 911 I figure out it’s the lights switch and it literally melting! And disclaimer: the switch is no where near the light bulb. And that’s what scared me the most is that I had no way of preventing this and now I am to scared to use this light and have to go out and buy another one! And won’t be able to even return the defective item for a new one.

Worked great at first
Lights worked as should for approximately 3 months. Then one side of the lamp stopped working. So now I have to purchase a new lamp, or continue to turn off the one side, and wait for the bulb to cool so I can switch from daylight to night bulb. Which is not convenient at all, and defeats the purpose of having a dual lamp.

Came quick like always with Amazon and is exactly as it was described and does what it said it did. Recommended if this is what you need. I use it for my snake works great

Melted through itself!
I am a teacher and I have a leopard gecko in my classroom. I walked in on Monday morning smelling burnt plastic. I checked around and this is what I found! I'm lucky it didn't catch anything on fire. I did NOT have the dimmer anywhere near the bulb. I have only had this light for about 4 months and now I have to buy a new one because of a faulty product
