hi! unlike hard plastic ice cube trays, silicone ice trays are easier to release ice balls from the mold. After freezing, simply bend the silicone tray and lift the lid by a finger, then squeeze the ice ball into your glass, your hands don't even touch the ice balls during the iceball releasing process.
