This thing is expensive but it's giving me about 3 hrs a day right now with my hands free so I can get a couple of things done without a baby freaking out in the background. Hard to put a price on that.It's not perfect, the audio quality is pretty poor, the Bluetooth pairing fails sometimes or takes a long time, and it's not a magic solution to a fussy baby, but it does relax my kid. What more can you ask for, really?

It was one of those essential products to have for a newborn. Let me tell you this... when we brought baby from hospital he would not sleep in ANYTHING but our arms while we rocked him. On a second day I just put him in Mamaroo for 5 min and magically he felt asleep. We started using it for sleep for the first 1-2 weeks. Nothing else worked. He then graduated into sleeping in dockatot but that was it. He loved sitting in the Mamaroo and still does. He is 4 months now. He is using it now in mornings when he just wants to peacfully chew on something. It is calming but gives him a chance to see things. He is starting to wiggle out of it by now so its time to change it to something else but for sure the first 4 months it was a place for him to be. The nice touch was sounds and bells on the top. He learned he could bang on the end of the mamaroo to make the bells ring :) We went to SF for a week and could not log this thing around with us. We surely missed a spot for him to sit in.Here is why this is the necessity:(1) baby cannot sit on his own so you end up having to put him into something, this is his throne(2) baby is rocked while in chair so its also calming(3) in beginning this is good for sleeping, although not safe for sure(4) heartbeat sound was putting him to sleep(5) Its like a chair in a room, does not take much space and looks greatLimitations: The reason my son could not sleep in it is his hands were always on the way, because you need him out of the swaddle in order to tie him up so he does not fall off. It would be nice if the manufacturer added a sack for swaddled babies so then you can leave them in it for an afternoon nap. Otherwise its only for wake times.We ended up looking for something similar for feeding at the table level which we graduated into Stokke Newborn Seat which unfortunately is not sold in the US but that's the next upgrade you need after such luxury like Mamaroo.

I love it! It was super easy to put together and it is easy to use. My son loves it. It helps him fall asleep. I also downloaded the 4moms app and love that I can control it from my phone. I opted for the plush seat because it was slightly softer, but I think the fabric is the only difference I can see between the "classic" and "plush". Regardless of which fabric you choose, the appearance of the swing itself is so much sleeker than anything else out there. I didn't realize this at first, but you can also change the incline of the seat itself. When I originally put it together, I had it mostly vertical but have since adjusted it to have a slight recline which my son seems to prefer. Thumbs up for 4moms, this one is a winner in our house.

Update to my review 10/29/2020. This is great product but I wish the toy on top had some mechanism to spin on its own, my grandson is 2 months and he definitely smiles and giggles more when we are spinning the toy, we also added a few toys of a tummy time mat that hang a little lower. This is the second one we have gifted!!! My friend loved hers so we had to get my grandson one. It was easy to put together, setting are self explanatory. It’s not bulky so I have it on the kitchen table for when I am warming up my grandsons bottle or cooking for the family. From all the different settings there is bound to be one your child likes. No more having to take your kid on car rides to put him/her to sleep.

My daughter loves it more than the Graco Duet Swing. That Graco started clicking so loud it would wake the baby. This thing moves so naturally, has multiple swing patterns and speeds. Speaker suck butt, sound option are a joke as well but I don't care cause don't need them. I just need the motion functionality. Wish it had a vibration mechanism though.

I wish I would have had one of these with my 5 previous kids! This has been a life saver with baby#6. She has colic and loves the car ride motion! She was 4lbs when we brought her home and sat perfectly in this with the infant insert (bought separately on here.) I wish it had more music options without having to connect a cell phone, but baby doesn’t need the noise so it isn’t a huge deal. I was worried that it wasn’t going to be sturdy enough, but I have had it on our hard wood floors as well as carpet and it seems very stable.

Love it so far. It's good for putting or keeping you baby asleep.Easy to setup. Looks like it's very good quality.Love the motion , makes very little noise while operating.Why 4 star ? Because the description is misleading. This is not Bluetooth enabled for music. You can control only the default "sounds" that it can come with but you can't use your own music over Bluetooth.It does come with an aux cable. But Which phone comes with aux anymore ? Not an iPhone and not most android phones. And even of it did it basically means u have to keep your phone connected to it while you're using it. I'm really conflicted of about returning. Will give it a couple more days before deciding.

I love our mamaroo. I tried everything swings, rockers... my baby hated everything. So I bought a used mamaroo and baby absolutely loved it. It’s like magic and the only thing she will fall asleep in. Unfortunately our used mamaroo started making funny noises so I bought a brand new one because I love it so much. Came quickly, easy to install, works great with the app. I like that this version has a crinkle toy, mirror and rattle. I also like that you can use your foot for the buttons. I don’t ever use the sound because it really annoys me that it’s super staticy (which apparently it’s designed to be).I really wish that the infant seat came with the mamaroo for the price that you pay for a new one and I also wish that the mobile would spin on its own.

Llegó en perfecto estado, todavía no nace mi bebé pero seguro será de gran ayuda. Muy fácil de arma y de usar.Edit:Mi bebé ya tiene dos meses y AMA el mamaroo. Le ayuda a conciliar el sueño, y si necesito hacer cosas en la casa se queda ahí tranquilo. También me encanta que por celular lo puedo manejar.

Me encantó !!! Mi hijo tiene 2 semanas de edad y le gusta mucho. No es necesario comprar colchóncito para RN que ofrecen aparte. Está muy comodo. Se arma muy fácil y la app funciona muy bien como control !!!

The chair works perfectly fine and was delivered the exact date that it was supposed to.. My baby just doesn’t like it... wasn’t worth paying 400$ for it... another swing is just as good as this one... and I found that the motor does a lot of noises too...
