Great Boot
These are my first Irish Setter boots, also first boots with BOA system. These boots fit and wear well. I was impressed with the design and quality. These may not be the boots you are looking for if you want a soft feel athletic type boot. These boots are supportive and comfortable. No slippage of foot inside no matter terrain. I have worn boots with all types of insulation. These boots are uninsulated, yet my foot stayed dry and warm. The BOA system works great. Was concerned about failure of components over time. BOA has their own site that resolved any of my doubts. Strong, well made, supportive, boot.

Love the boot.
Great boots and easy to put on and are comfortable. Took them on an 8 hour hike and they were perfect. Like that I didn't need to deal with laces.

BEST BOOTS EVER MADE! In a class all by themselves, no joke!
In my 30+ years of buying work boots, hiking boots, winter boots and literally every other kind of boot you can imagine; this pair is twice as good as all of them put together! And I'm not exaggerating one bit... The ratcheting laces system (BOA dial) keeps them secure on my feet all day long and as soon as I clock out, all I have to do is pop out the BOA dial and they are instantly lose enough to kick off. I've never had a boot that is completely waterproof AND sweat proof after working a 12 hour day- day in, day out; without exception. After four months of heavy abuse, working in everything from pouring down rain to 100 degree days on top of a metal roof; they are just as good as the day I bought them. They don't even have a scuff mark or scratch!!! The brand Irish Setter is the hunting boot line from Danner Boots, so you know they are world class quality just from the name. And at $150 a pair, I think this is the last $150 I will ever spend on boots ever again!

Needs a little work.
They’re obviously very easy to put on and tighten up. They’re comfortable, in the sense of how the boot bends when you’re outdoors, but they just seem like they make my feet and legs too hot.Not sure if they’re even supposed to be used in the summer time but that’s what I’m doing as I work in the woods every day.

Excellent efficient boot
Hunted multiple days back to back, 4-10 miles each day, 5000 to 8000 feet. Feet were always dry and warm. Best boot I’ve hunted in. Worked very well with gaiters. Will use for many other hunts. I bought a half size larger and wore thick socks. Walked through 4”-6” of water and mud, stayed dry. Rugged, comfortable.

Best hunting boots I've bought
First of all I'm disabled after a brain injury. The fact thst I survived is a miracle its a miracle im able to hunt again. I had to learn to walk again but still have a weak ankle, that's prone to roll on me. But these boots gave me enough ankle support I could walk 5 miles through the rainforest of western oregon.... My feet stayed bone dry and warm after walking through creeks and marshes so yes I fully recommend these boots.

Very warm and made extremely well best boots for all around hunting.
This hunting boot is fantastic! It's incredibly warm and keeps your feet dry. Just remember to order a size larger if you plan on wearing them with thick socks. The grip on these boots is excellent, making it easy to walk on rocky trails. Plus, they're super easy to slip on and off.

Incredibly Squeaky
The boot itself is nice. Fits as expected. Pretty comfortable. But the cables squeak like crazy!! Not super convenient when trying to sneak up on a mule deer or elk... overall they're a nice boot if you don't mind listening to the squeak every step or if the game you're stalking is deaf.
