A turns up the heAt.
This is going to be a hard review to write, I can't give away too much. I want the reader to experience everything first hand. This is a fantastic read. This has to be hands down one of the *best* Pretty Little Liars books. It seems that the Liars have had enough of A, and all of A's bulling, taunting, and threats. The PLL's go looking for A. As the saying goes, be careful what you wish for, because you just might get it, and the PLL's do. A isn't anyone's coward, A takes the PLL's head on. Pretty soon, other people are looking for the PLL's. A isn't just one step ahead of the PLL's, A is more like 5 or 6 steps ahead of the Liars. Then when the PLL's need help the most, the people they most trust, turn on them, and they're alone. All alone. What makes this work is the emotional aspect to this book. We get to the the effect of the psychological mind games that A has played on the liars, and pushes one of the liars to her limits. That was a very emotional scene, and my eyes got misty because my heart for broke for the PLL that was pushed to the edge of the abyss. This is just so much more I want to say about this book, but it would just be spoilers. Just trust me, if you've read the books in the series, then you must read it, you'll thank me later. If you haven't read the series yet, then start with the first book, and enjoy the ride.As usual with the hardback books, if you look under the dust jacket, you get a special message from A. I love that touch to the series.

Not the best in the series, but still a good read
First of all, I feel the Pretty Little Liars series must be given some leeway. These books can get predictable and be slightly unbelievable from time to time, but remember this is the PLL series. If you want something with depth, this is not the series for you.I felt that the past few books in the PLL series were starting to drag; it was really starting to feel like Sara Shepard was stretching the story out in order to sell more books. However, Deadly does pick up the pace and doesn't seem quite as desperate. While still predictable from time to time, Deadly does have some interesting and unexpected twists.Without revealing too much of the plot, I will also say that it is nice to see the girls finally making some smart decisions. In the past, it has been frustrating to see the girls make the same mistakes over and over. I start to wonder how long this bullying would continue before the girls actually work with some adults to put an end to it.And while I'm willing to suspend a certain amount logic when reading, PLL can just ask too much of me at times. Unless "A" is a super-genius (and I mean that literally), Shepard just takes it too far. Somehow "A" is everywhere and know everything. "A" can hack computers, phones, e-mail accounts and perform other types of high tech magic. And of course even though "A" is always causing so much havoc, no one can ever catches "A." While some of the PLL series have been more believable than others, I feel that Deadly's story line gets pretty unbelievable (even by PLL standards).Although I felt this book took an already hard to believe story line and stretched it way beyond what I was able to swallow, I did feel that Deadly was faster paced and less predictable than the last few PLL books.Pros: new changes to the story line, PLL finally seem to be learning from some of their mistakes, faster paceCons: way too far-fetched (there's zero forensic evidence left behind; one or two people can do everything, like hack computers and phones, tamper with videos, etc.)

I'm DEAD Serious This Book Was Perfect
Pretty Little Liars number 14 is a book I have been looking forward to ever since I finished the last one, I pre-ordered it the second I read that last crazy page of that last crazy book. As this on just a crazy? HECK yes! And it was totally worth the wait.Hanna, Emily, Spencer and Aria have been in big trouble, seen way too much dramatic and traumatic stuff, and they have had many run ins with A before. They've lied before, cried before, and almost died before, but Deadly takes it to the next level. No PLL book has ever been like this one.Th book starts off where the last one ended. Noel is very hurt and in the hospital, the girls are terrified, and they just KNOW something bad is going to happen. And it is. A has had juice on them for a long time now and we all knew that the liars weren't going to be able to stop it from getting out. And in Deadly it does. And who does A give all the liars dirty little secret to? The police. The FBI. Our good friend from book 13 Agent Fuji. But the girls aren't going down without a fight and this is the first book where they really, really fight back. And so in a big blur of creepy texts, romantic rendezvous, memories from Jamaica, family problems, police visits, AND an ending where you'll not only get to find out who is it exactly that's part of Team A but also SEE THEM FACE TO FACE, you will finally figure out what is going on in Rosewood

This is the fourteenth book to the Pretty Little Liars series
This is the fourteenth book to the Pretty Little Liars series. Aria interrogates Noel asking him what happened. He says that he heard to people whispering and he was thrown into a truck, she asks if one of the voices was Ali, but he declines. Aria thinks he is still in Love with Alison. Talk about how Noel knew Ali was the one in the Preserve. Spencer and Chase find more things out about where Ali could be hiding. The clinic is closed because of the deaths of Kayla and Graham. Mike finds out it was Ali who killed Gayle and created the explosion on the cruise. Hanna told mike about A and now Aria is mad because she didn't him to be caught up into this. Hanna's dad basically disowns her. Emily is shunned again. They figure out that a guy named Nick knew all of the girls just as a different name (Phineas, Derrick, Olaf, and Jackson). Nick and Ali trapped the girls in a room that is meant to be a shrine for Ali and the room is filled with cyanide. Emily knocks out Nick. Nick is arrested, Ali fleas and all the charges against the girls are droped. Ali is in her hideout at the end of the book. Now nobody knows where she is not even Nick
