totes Automatic Open Close Water-Resistant Foldable Golf Umbrella with Sun Protection

I've bought Totes umbrellas for many years because of their great quality and their fantastic warranty. I bought this after someone stole one that I really liked, but couldn't find that particular pattern any more.Likes:1. Totes makes umbrellas that are of excellent quality.2. The auto open and close feature works great.3. I love the size. I think that two people could get protection from this.4. I love the leopard print. It looks even prettier in person.5. Totes really stands by their product with a great warranty. If one ever breaks, you can send it back, along with a small fee, and they'll usually send you a new one. Over the years, I've done this several times, and have been very happy with the replacement.If you buy a Totes, you'll be glad you did. I highly recommend their umbrellas.

I had another Totes, very similar size to this one, for 4 years. It started to let water through, so a search for replacements brought me here. The Neverwet idea made sense, and it wasn't much more expensive, so I gave it a try.I live in central PA, so we get plenty of rainy days. I only had to wait 2 or 3 days to try it out. Of course, it worked fine, easy to open and close, and kept me as dry as an umbrella can. I did notice that most of the water shook right off the fabric when I got to work. It wasn't completely dry, but enough not to drip, and it was totally dried off after a couple hours, which is impressive. Hopefully it doesn't wear off the fabric.

I bought this model umbrella a dozen years ago for myself. It's surprisingly large for how compact it is folded up. I've carried it on windy rainy days, and so far it's been sturdy enough not to break when it catches the wind. When my daughter wanted one for Christmas, I knew I would have to get this model for her, and was really surprised I was able to find it in her very favorite cheetah print! Win win!

I think this is a great choice for an umbrella. I like the large canopy, top quality material, and push to open and close feature. However, the material is so thick that wrapping it back up after you use it (i.e. trying to get it tight enough to fit the velcro strap around it) can be really, really difficult to do. You have you use quite a bit of force to twist it super duper tight before you can possibly latch it closed. This is also quite a heavy umbrella, and i prefer something smaller or lighter for my purse, but this provides much better coverage than purse-size umbrellas and is a good middle ground between a mini umbrella and a larger/non-folding type.

This definitely does the trick with carrying a newborn and her car seat as well as a 1 year old! The only downfall is it doesn’t seem as sturdy as the smaller totes umbrellas.

I've only had the umbrella for a short time, so I can speak to long-term durability, but it seems pretty sturdy. It opens well and holds up in the wind quite nicely. I paid extra for a strong umbrella, hoping it would do just what it is doing. So far, it seems very worth it.

I use this for sun shade when I sit in my truck at lunch time. It works great. I totally recommend it.
