High expectations
So far so good.I’ve had several remote doorbells in the past. The exterior button units have all failed within a year or two. Some of them even generated false rings from time to time. They all suffer from the same basic problems. Batteries wear out, the batteries are often difficult to replace resulting in damage to the unit, and the housings are not resistant to the outdoor environment e.g. insects, moisture, and temperature. This unit seems to address all of those issues. There is no battery and the unit is sealed according to a well-established industry standard (IPX7). Coming from an engineering background I appreciate the attention that appears to have been paid to design details. The button feels rugged and I expect that it will last me for a very long time. It’s been in place for 3 weeks with no problems. It is slightly wider than the normal doorbell and may not fit in the same location as the original button. Make sure you measure the location you’re going to put it in before you purchase it.

Great wireless and battery-less doorbell!
I originally bought a wireless door bell that required a battery in the transmitter button and 4 "C" batteries in the receiver. I started to notice that some people were saying they rang my doorbell but I didn't hear anything. So it got me worried that my batteries were dying. I checked the batteries and they seemed fine. Anyway, it got me worried. So I decided to get this little fella. All I can say is this doorbell is awesome. It was so easy to install and I love that it doesn't require a battery in the transmitter or the receiver since the receiver plugs directly into an outlet. And the sound is super loud. I have it on the lowest setting and I can hear it from anywhere in my house. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a wireless doorbell.

I love this Miracle Doorbell !!
This an unbelievable great product! I wanted to be able to hear the bell when I am in the basement. My hearing has been getting worse over the years. I never heard about wi-fi ringer without the batteries and by accident ran into this one. It was hard to imagine that the button part will transmit strong enough signal to the base without any source of electricity, so out of curiosity I ordered this Vasteko unit. To my surprise it works so well and reaching the base unit very far away, probably in my case 60-80 feet! You can change many ring tunes and plug it in in any ac outlet around the house. Mounting the button bracket is so easy, 2 screws included. You can slide in the button unit into the bracket or take it out of the bracket. I am highly recommending this miracle Doorbell, I love it!

works great only if well within stated range
Definitely did not work at rated 400' -- I had mine in the front hallway (transmitter on gate 10' from front wall, and it rang about once every 10 presses -- not reliable at all. However, it works perfectly now that I moved the receiver to the front wall outlet (the closest it could possibly be). While not my ideal spot (in the hallway it would be heard better throughout the house), it is loud enough to be heard in most areas, so I'm happy. I'm especially excited to not have to ever worry about changing batteries or it not working in the rain/cold. Finally, a working solution to my bell issue. (I have tried other wireless in past and the battery, cold, and rain killed them all). Yay!!!

Best wireless doorbell, well worth the money
The idea of a waterproofed all weather button is solidified with a battery-less design. This is the best wireless doorbell I've purchased. The last two did not last but a few days before they malfunctioned. The button itself is larger than most, so plan ahead for placement. I used the back mounting bracket instead of adhesive, which works great. The receiver has three volume levels, and the highest is loud enough for us to hear upstairs. The center light on the bell does stay lit, so we plugged it in and left it in a corner, it's out of the way and stays out of sight. I would recommend this doorbell.

Look, Ma! No Batteries!
This unit replaces a wireless doorbell with a battery-powered transmitter, the transmitter consuming batteries at a high rate. The new electronic-mechanical transmitter may seem a little large, but it's functioned flawlessly since installation. I only wish the manufacturer had opted not to put the brand on it.There are caveats in the instructions for distance, and there are other concerns. I'm not sure what the affects of aluminum siding would be. It may also be a problem if your house is of a "certain age" and has plaster walls with expanded metal lath. It may not be a problem, or the lath -- and perhaps aluminum siding -- might act like a Faraday cage and shield the transmitter's output from getting to the receiver.

Maintenance free, no batteries required but...
Pros:1. Wireless.2. Transmitter (button) requires no batteries.3. Receiver (bell) plugs to your electric socket.4. Twenty five different ringtones.5. You can have up to three buttons with one bell.6. You can adjust bell volume to low, medium or high. (high is too loud for me)Cons:1. Sometimes you need to press button two to three times to ring the bell.2. I have thick walls and a metal door therefore wireless range is significantly less for me (around 110 feet or approximately 35m)Final thoughts:Good quality, good price and loud. It requires no batteries so it’s virtually maintenance free. Does not always ring the first time you press its button.

Finally a good solution to our door bell problems
Finally a good solution to our door bell problems. Before installation I tested it at over 100 feet away. It worked flawlessly. I tested the loudness at three feet and got 85db. depending on the chime. We couldn't make up our mind which chime to use, too many to count. The LED is an excellent night light. We live in an exposed area 800 feet from the Atlantic which has a bad effect on electronics. To avoid previous failures, I enclosed the sender in what is called an in-use electrical outlet box made of see-through carbonate, available at most hardware stores and on-line, about $10. So I cannot comment as to how weatherproof it is. If you have two doors, order two and set a different chime for each.
