Meridian 9316CW Telephone Black

The phone is awesome, easy to configure and setup. It has many features available and has one of the clearest speaker phones I have used. I am on conference calls all day long and everyone says that I sound like I have a headset on and they cannot believe that I am using speaker phone. I would highly recommend this phone for someone who needs a good at home office phone.

I bought this phone because it looked like the quality Nortel phones I remember from my corporate days. What I got looks like a relatively well-made Chinese copy. But you can tell....I read all the reviews here, some saying the speakerphone was good, some saying it was poor. Well, my speakerphone experience has been pretty bad. Usually, I can *hear* just fine but the mic isn't picking up my voice. I've left dozens of voicemail messages to myself trying to troubleshoot the problem. 90% of the time I get no voice pick-up; about 5% of the time it fades in and out, and the rest of the time it works reasonably well.But how can you place a phone call under those circumstances? These phones will be going back in the box....

The phone works as advertised and I'm generally satisfied with the quality of the phone, both its appearance and functionality. However, I had the worst time dealing with both the Manufacturer - Astrata - and the Seller - Price Pros for a simple question I had. They both were at the same time non-responsive and unprofessional. If you have a chance and like the phone, try to get it through another seller or a similar phone from a different manufacturer.

Great phone. Well constructed. Not like so many cheap plastic phones you find at Big Box stores. Easy to set up and use. Other phones offered lots of assorted features (one even had built in hold music) but all the reviews had issues with one thing or another. This phone is dependable and has great sound quality, caller ID, a bright message light and solid construction. Don't know if it has any hands-free accessories but I'm sure that a standard headset from some place like Plantronics will work if ever needed. Very good price and fast delivery from the reseller as well.

Whoever said this is a good speakerphone obviously does not really depend on that function. I am a 3rd degree burn and 12,000 volt electrocution triple amputee and I have used Polycom analog phones for 13 years, well Polycom has phased out the Soundpoint Pro analog line to move to fully digital phone systems.....i.e. Comcast in my area, YUCCH!! THIS PHONE IS NOT A TRUE FULL DUPLEX PHONE AT ALL, PERIOD !!! A huge dissapointment in my arena. Good luck to all of you but this phone is NOT as advertised, Good luck, RM

Called by many names ... Meridian, Aastra & Mitel; darn good phone for those of us dinosaurs that still use a Analog PBX and a regular RJ11 jack.

Meridian 9316cw Black Feat.bus Phone Caller Id Speakerphone Pers.d You can't get a better phone for the money - bought mine used from Cipher Systems for $24.00 plus $6.49 shipping and got it in 5 days. After a quick Lysol wipedown I have a good looking, feature-rich, high quality business speakerphone that can still be used when the power goes out. I downloaded a User Manual for free after Googling around a little.
