Awesome roosts and toys for chicks **but see warning below**
DO NOT put the largest roost in the brooder with all its perching bars when chicks are small!! I had a couple chicks slip off between the bars and their wings got caught between the bars - so wings up, but chick feet touching ground...if that makes sense. To fix this, we removed the top bar in the center and then the next to last bar on either side. Then it became the perfect toy and roost for the chicks. Once they were big enough, I put those bars back on and had no issues.I 100% recommend these for your chicks!! There wasn't enough space for the heat plate and all three roosts so I alternated the roosts. Worked out great for the chicks, too, because each time I traded a roost out, they had a new "toy" to run and jump on and explore.

Great for little chickies to exercise their legs
My little birdies loved hopping up and down the rungs. It does take a bit of effort to clean them, and they will get stained, but overall, if my chicks are happy, I am happy.

Chickens like them
These were easy to assemble and I got them all together in a matter of minutes. They’re sturdy enough to hold the birds and will last a whole. They are made of unfinished woods so they will require cleaning with use. The variety of sizes were convenient for different ages of chickens.

They are much smaller than they look. My parakeet likes them.
Too small for chickens

It takes a while for the chicks to catch onto roosts.
Some take to them. Mine little guys were slow to roost, but last night, every single feathered freak was up on a dowel and cozied up to their buddies. They require space and they get dirty pretty quick because, you know, chickens. They poop all the time. I float mine upside down in a washtub of soapy warm water and brush them off. Works good. Good value
These worked well for our baby chicks and it is very well built. Wish they were a bit bigger so it could have been used a little longer after they grew a bit.
