I was a little nervous ordering this picnic basket because the measurements listed were bigger than I wanted. However, I trusted the good reviews and the affordable price. I spent hours online searching for the perfect picnic basket and most that I found didn't match the style/color I wanted... and on top of it all, they were very expensive ($150-$300). When I came across the SummerEase basket, I automatically fell in love with the interior design and colors, and the price was reasonable!After physicaly looking at the picnic basket I realized it should be this size so you can actually fit food and a bottled drink. The insulated built in compartment was perfect to store our fruits and deli meats. It was spacious for the taperware. The little wine glasses had strap ons to keep them in place. Everything was organized and made to keep the silverware, plates, and glasses safe.In short, I am extemely happy with my purchase. My fiance and I used this picnic basket for an engagement photoshoot. He loved the basket and so did our photographer. The basket was sturdy and overall great quality. The customer service was also terrific because they helped get the basket in time for our photoshoot.

This old fashioned picnic basket makes a beautiful presentation and a very unique gift. I was initially disappointed because one of the glasses arrived broken and as this was a birthday gift could not be presented in that way. I contacted the seller as indicated in the seller's card that comes inside the basket. He assured me that it would be sent out right away but due to personal issues he was not able to get to the replacement shipment as promised. However, he made good on his promise eight days later and not only did he replace the broken glass he refunded the purchase because of the delay in time. This was not requested by me but was initiated by the seller who felt it was the right thing to do, and because of his honorable and responsible actions, I feel it is only right that he receive a positive review as he did do the best he could under the circumstances. This lovely basket was a worth while purchase and I may purchase more in the future. It looks exactly as pictured only better in real life. I strongly recommend this product and seller to anyone interested in purchasing a real picnic basket.

It's large like it says. It's so beautiful and nothing was broken. The dinnerware set is very nice, the knives are serrated and have a sharp edge, the spoons and forks are nice as well. It's such a wonderful basket and perfect for a family picnic. It's large like it's advertised, the dinnerware isn't scratched, scuffed or cracked in any way. Even the little wine glasses came perfectly preserved, as well as the salt and pepper shakers.The leather is strong and very neat, it compliments the basket.The only thing with my picnic basket is that I have to squeeze the plates in the leather straps, so I have to be very careful with that.I really love this basket everything is just gorgeous and it has everything I need for a picnic.

Meh. Not impressed. The wicker is decent. From there it goes down the road you’d expect with any item built off shore. Dishes and utensils are half the thickness of normal household items. The plastic handles are cheap. Salt and pepper shakers are plastic and super cheesy. The wine glasses are tiny. About half scale. Honestly, I’ve seen better items at the dollar store. The straps and handles are pleather. Not real leather. Stitching is loose in places. The straps that hold the dishes in are too tight and you have to fight to get them buckled. The fabric on the interior is ok but thin. The cooler insulation is super thin and cheap, nowhere close to the quality of a typical soft, insulated lunch box. Then there’s the free cold bag. Erm... there is none. Or is it the insulated side of the basket they are referring to??? Bad English? Hard to tell.So, on cute factor, it’s pretty adorable and seems like it will hold up ok but it’s really more along the lines of the quality you’d see at a 7 year old girls tea party than at an outdoor concert and wine festival. I’ll hang onto it and buy an insulated wine sack and food containers because I know good and well this thing isn’t keeping anything cold. I’ll ignore the confusing photo inside the ad that shows a blanket and napkins that don’t come with it and ponder about the missing cold bag, and hope it doesn’t fall apart on a date. Cheers.

UPDATE: Okay - this was taken care of so quickly it made my head spin. And the second package was shipped nicely. I guess it was just a bad batch on the first product - I would so recommend this as a gift! This picnic basket is EVERYTHING we’d been looking for - I’m serious. If you love picnics you understand my adamancy here =D. So well made, so thoughtfully assembled. So fun to have little stemmed glasses for flavored iced tea or wine. <3!!!Ridiculous packing on this product. Impossible to receive glasses intact when shipped without any packing material whatsoever. Amazed the plates didn’t break.The 2 stars is because it appeared the quality was nice and the appearance was very sharp. The product is decent but what does that matter when you can’t receive it intact. Too bad.
