I am a fitness enthusiast, so I end up working out in my home a lot in addition to the gym. I bought the mat so i could have something for cushioning and a little protection on my garage floor. I use it for everything now. I can sit on the ground for stretching before or after I workout. I can stand on it if I get more into a yoga session. I use it for padding under my head if I am doing handstand pushups during one of my crossfit workouts. I have also taken it on trips so I have something so I can set up my own little space for anything, no matter where I am. Perfect for active lifestyle.

The packaging is impressive, professionally designed and would make a great gift. Functional, compact and easy to tote around. Easily fits in my gym bag, I don't like how other products are big and bulky and take up a lot of space. My wife and I have found countless uses for Chum Mat. I work on my own car a lot and have been using this to sit on the concrete floor in my garage while wrenching on my car. Thank you Chum Mat for an awesome product.

This is actually the third chum mat that I have purchased. The first two I've given to friends who liked mine so much that they turned into gifts! I have used them in crossfit, impromptu mountain yoga sessions and even for outdoor seating. They're also the perfect solution to keeping your car seat dry after a hot yoga session. I am so happy this is on Amazon now. I have ordered several directly from the designer and love them! I keep finding new uses for them or they are "borrowed" by friends who want to give it a try. I have one in my car, one in the kitchen and one with my pilates equipment. My son takes one to PE and swim practice to cushion his knees and elbows on the cement during stretching and endurance workouts.

I haven't used it as a travel mat but see how it could easily fit in a suitcase. It's also the right thickness (not too thin or too thick) and stickiness for yoga. I bought the mat, however, to fit on top of my regular-sized mat for extra knee cushioning, and it works great for that purpose. I wish there were other color options because I wouldn't have chosen red OR black.

I love this mat!! I use it with my seated meditation and as extra knee cushion during low lunge, etc, and headstands.I teach yoga and all of my students want one now! Great product! Doesn't get in the way like a blanket does when moving from asana to asana.

Love this mat! I took it to Europe with me and was able to practice in a tiny Munich hotel room! Also rolled it up in my carryon when I visited family across the country! Super light and easy to clean.
