After years of trying other more expensive shampoos that had so many additives and either caused a rash, discoloration on my gray hair, or itching and dryness I saw Honest Shampoo and Body Wash, and liked the reviews and the back story how they became a success company providing natural ingredients that REALLY WORK!!!! I purchased the smaller, product for sensitive skin first, and as a body wash it was great and leaves my skin feeling clean and soft. No residue. But, for me the biggest plus’s was my gray hair. The shampoo took all the yellow out and left my hair feeling soft and clean. No itching, rashes, or flaking. I ordered a bigger size with the lavender scent. Very minimal scent, and not overpowering. I really am pleased with the cost as well. Fits my budget and I would recommend this product, especially for seniors with gray hair.

For many years the shampoos and conditioners I tried made my scalp red, rashy and sometimes flakey. I'm sure it was all the chemicals in the majority of products. Through the app called Yuka.com - that analyzes the ingredients in foods and many cosmetics and hair products I found the Honest products. I believe the company was founded by Gweneth Paltrow. For the past year I used the shampoo, conditioner, lip gloss, etc and they are WONDERFUL products. They are free of chemicals and overpowering fragrance. My scalp is clean and healthy with no redness, itching or other chemical-induced results.

It is difficult for me to find a shampoo that actually works because many of them have sold out to chemicals. Honest is a good company and they use natural ingredients. Unlike others that claim they're nature then you find out they're not. Honest is all natural shampoo and free from the harsh chemicals. It works well on my hair and I can find it locally if I need to. Price is reasonable for a hypoallergenic shampoo. The only con of this product I can think of is if you are allergic to either nuts (coconut) or chamomile. The scent in it is so mild it does not bother me. I would recommend this if you are having challenges finding a natural shampoo and have high sensitivities or allergies.

We love The Honest Company Shampoo and Conditioner. We switch between the citrus vanilla and lavender. Works great for my little ones; no tears. Both scents smell amazing! Bottles arrive in perfect shape and are a great size. Leaves hair soft and hydrated. We find purchasing from Amazon is cheaper than our local grocery store - so it’s definitely a win!
