Rada Cutlery Mixing Spoons Set

I love everything about these!

Good quality & held up fine in the dishwasher.

I tried using this for stirring a roux for a gumbo I was making. To make a good roux requires constant stirring over a medium heat for upwards of 30 - 45 minutes. After about 20 minutes or so I started noticing little black "flecks" in the roux. Thinking it might be that the heat was too high and I wasn't stirring the roux fast enough to keep it from sticking to the bottom of the panI checked the heat and took the pan off the stove to check it. It was when I took the spoon out of the roux that I noticed the end was melted and curled up on the end. Turns out, the "flecks" I was seeing was plastic from the spoon that had come off in the pan. I had to trash the spoon and grab a wooden one to continue (after throwing out the tainted roux and starting over). Bottom line: these spoons can't even handle moderate heat. Use for mixing something cold or at room temp. Needless to say, I was disappointed.

I have looked all over for so long for this type of spoon in black! Love them! Perfect for stirring drinks in pitchers, but also great for many other uses!

Very nice 3 piece set of mixing spoons. Dishwasher safe and lightweight. Just like good old fashion wooden spoons but more sanitary. These will not disappoint.
