You can't beat a dolly peg, keeps the clothes on the line no problem, keep them somewhere dry and they last for years.

They are dolly pegs!
I found them quite easy to use. I just folded my jeans waistband over the washing line and pushed two on, one each side. A complete revelation. 😊😊😊

These are not like old wooden pegs, they do break quite easily but as long as nothing thick or too thin will hold your washing.
