Beco Sustainably Made Bamboo Whisker Friendly Cat Food Bowl, Non-Slip Base, Easy Clean, Natural

Really wanted to like these cute pink bamboo cat bowls. Thought the concept was good. Shallow and wide, no whisker fatigue. Unfortunately, my cats eats a small size dry kibble-NULO, and it doesn't stay in the bowl. Where the bowl dips on the edges, the food scoots out. I have been doing nothing but cleaning up kibble from the mat it sits on.

I don't know how good this will work because I am still trying to get the GLUE spot off of the bottom where the product information was GLUED to the bottom... I don't have "Goo Be Gone" or any other GLUE removal... Aggravating...

I really like almost everything about this cat food dish ... made from recyclable materials, shallow but big surface area, stack together nicely. But, it doesn't have a no-skid bottom. Didn't realize how important that was until I heard it sliding across the tile floor as the cats tried to eat. It's too bad, I really liked the dishes.If you feed your pets on anything other than a slick surface, these dishes are great.

My cats hate deep bowls due to their whiskers getting rubbed. This is the best solution so when I give them wet food they actually can eat it all comfortably instead of leaving half of it in the corners of their old bowl.

These are super lightweight and have no type of grip on the bottom. Unfortunately they slide everywhere as they eat and flip easily. They do seem sturdy and are nice and wide and shallow for kitty whiskers though.

Love how eco-friendly it is! Has gone through dishwasher multiple times so far with no issue. Pretty shallow too so hopefully it doesn't bother cat's whiskers as much as much as regular bowls. Obviously not meant for water, but holds any juices with wet food just fine.

This a great bowl. It is extremely sturdy, easy to clean, non-toxic AND environmentally friendly!

Cat seems to prefer this to a deeper bowl. Is very easy to clean and seems sturdy.

Having read that cats dislike deep sided bowls because of their whiskers, I started feeding my then kitten, using a saucer. A few years, and an additional cat later, I'd lost patience with the amount of food ending up on the mat instead of in the cats! (The young kitten had grown into a very messy eater.) Having looked around for shallow bowls it seemed that most manufacturers have not changed the age old design of deep sided, whisker and environment unfriendly plastic/metal bowls. Purely by chance I came across these and bought two.Delivery was quick and the bowls not only look nice, but are also quite sturdy unlike some of those flimsy plastic things you get. Unfortunately there is nothing on the base to stop them sliding when in use. Its also good to know that they are bio degradable having been made from bamboo.The first problem as mentioned by other reviewers is the glue holding the large label on, it is a nightmare. The product prides itself on being Eco-friendly, but the glue holding that label cannot possibly be, its super industrial strength and takes a lot of time and patience to get it of the surface without damaging the bowl. The second problem as all cat owners will understand is the cats themselves - fussy devils. It took a determined effort to introduce those bowls to my two picky felines but its finally done.Feeding time is so much better, the cats whiskers miss the sides, and food stays mainly in the bowl. I would recommend these bowls to any cat owner, and already have to a few friends. The design is so simple and much better than the normal deep sided ones. The only drawback I have found, is that I have to be careful not to overfill the bowl. It is quite wide and the serving I give the cats looks a little meager due to this.I would have given these bowls 5 stars but for two things. Firstly the glue, there is far too much of it for a simple paper label and you really have a problem removing it. Secondly, although these bowls have a wide base, there is still the problem of movement when eager cats decide to eat. It it less obvious than the smaller bowls, but it would have been better if some thought had gone into this.

I looked into these bowls because they are an awarding winning species specific, feline friendly feed bowl. They are not cute and don't match the decor but if they're what makes for a happy cat then I'm buying it! They are cheap, environmentally friendly, strong, very sturdy and light weight. They allow my cats to observe their surroundings while eating, prevents them having to stuff their head into a deep dish and changing their physical movement to pick up food, and it's friendly against their whiskers and the material stops odours being detectable after washing them out. I like the width as well for the same reasons. My only very mild irritance to the low edges is that a few pieces end up being pushed over the edge but it is a small price to pay. I bought 4 of these bowls and I dont plan to change them, unless I go bowl-less for them! I have recommended them to many people.

Good sized flat bowl. Has rubber feet to stop it sliding. Cleaned easily but use a soft cloth as prone to scratches. Not very sturdy, pink colour seems to be sprayed onto white bowl. It arrived with a couple of scratches

i have a little chihuahua and she sometimes gets picky about eating from a normal sized dog bowl so i was looking for a low rimmed bowl for her to eat out of.I have had no issues since and she seems to love it, its light but thick plastic and with a bit of walm water and a scrub it comes up clean.its perfect for what i needed.

Great cat bowls, a keep an eye on the prices as it can vary between vendors. Also, if you if you care less about the colours, some colours can be found cheaper than others.Nice bowls, easy stacking and work well in dishwasher.
