Sweet spot for build quality vs. price
I've had a chance to carry the Sofirn SC31T for a few weeks now. It's a great little pocket light (especially with the clip or included belt case), packs a lot of power (2,000 claimed lumens) and is built sturdy enough to take day-to-day abuse. As with all Sofirn products, this Sofirn SC31T sits in the sweet spot of being a quality build without breaking the bank. I own over 10 Sofirn lights, and this is one of the best models to pocket or "EDC" -- you get a lot of lumens for such a small size. Sofirn has some smaller models available (such as the SC21 Pro or SP10 Pro), but those output about half the lumens. This is a good middle-ground for size vs. power, and easily pocketable. At full power, 2,000 lumens are blindingly bright, and can throw a good distance. The lowest output modes on the SC31T are perfect for moving around the house in the dark.As a company, Sofrin lights aren't super flashy, but they are top performers and can take a beating. I own a lot of other "hot rod" flashlights and they get a lot of use, but I'm always impressed with the build quality you get with Sofirn products for the price. They feel sturdy in the hand, have a good waterproof rating, and the aluminum shells hold up to day to day wear. The SC31T's interface is pretty straightforward and you can cycle through the output modes quickly. The tail-click and side-button work nicely together to turn on/off and cycle modes. I generally prefer lights with the "Anduril" open-source interface, and this model does not have that. However, there is another model "SC31 Pro" that's the same size, but with Anduril, if you'd like to try a bit more advanced interface. It comes with one of my favorite emitters, the Luminus SST-40 at 5000K. This is close to my preferred color temperature (around 4000K), and a good temperature for most daily use.The SC31T can be charged with the built-in USB-C port, or your favorite Li-ion charger. It holds a charge for a while when not in use, though I usually lock the light out (by unscrewing the tail-cap slightly) when not in use.The SC31T comes with a belt-clip that's pretty flexible in what you attach it to (through a snap-off clip, or a metal ringlet). I also love that it comes with a diffuser, which you can use to soften the light output. I can't recall any of my other flashlights that came with a diffuser by default, and it's a nice option to have.Overall, I'd highly recommend this light for anyone looking for a quality-built and powerful EDC light.

Two Buttons for the Win!
What did I like about this flashlight? Just about everything, but the best part (for me) is the two button operation. The tail button turns the flashlight on and off. The head/side button changes the modes. This combo makes the light perfectly simple to use, while still preserving a Turbo setting, ramping control, and strobe and S.O.S., should I ever care about those. The build is solid. The light is bright when I want bright. The battery can be charged in flashlight or out of flashlight. The head/side button shows the charge state when the flashlight is turned on. The clip is pretty secure. And the price is reasonable compared to some of the market leaders.I got the package containing the battery, charging cable (USB 3, yay!), holster, and diffuser. I haven't tried the holster, yet, but the diffuser works reasonably well for an emergency lantern. This flashlight doesn't sit terribly stably on its tail end, so the "lantern" mode would require a little propping. The battery that came with the flashlight looks to be of good quality (according to my charger). My flashlight is the "5000K" version, but seems even warmer than that to my eyes. It definitely looks yellower when compared to my other "6000K" flashlights. What can I complain about? So far not much. Maybe the double click/triple click/quad click requires a little more speed than I'd prefer, but that's about it.I primarily own "less expensive" flashlights. The SC31T is clearly head and shoulders better quality than the really cheap models. If my unit doesn't die in the near term, I can easily see it becoming my favorite pocketable flashlight.

Another solid option from Sofirm
I'm loving the SC31T. It's got a good combination of power and size that makes it a great all-purpose light, easy to carry on a regular basis. The user interface is simpler to use than my Anduril lights, but still has features I love like the stepless ramping between modes. The Medium and High modes are plenty for most circumstances, but the Turbo really helps when it's needed. I'm not a big fan of blinky modes, so the SOS and strobe modes don't get much use from me, but at least the SOS is a true SOS - lots of cheaper lights do an SOSOSOSOS mode and that's always bothered me. I love that it's USB-C since that means I carry less charging cables. And, the build is nice and solid. Threads are clean, so the twisty bits twist nicely while it feels quality. The silicon diffuser fits well, and I'm not worried about it falling off at all. I do find the tailswitch useful, but it has the downside of not being magnetic. The upside is that itis much harder to bump on in your pocket.All-in-all, another great option from Sofirn, especially if you don't need the more complex UI that the Anduril lights have.

Good quality, excellent value for money
I am very impressed with the build quality and performance of the SC31T. It's as well built as some flashlights at twice the price. If I had to nit pick, the clip would be the only part that could be better. But the unit itself is solid. The tube threads are plenty long enough, come greased, with spare o-rings, and operate smoothly. Beefy battery springs at both ends. Simple UI for switching between modes (although you will need to read the instructions to figure out how to access all the features, like triple clicking the side button to enable beacon mode). The light itself probably comes close to the claimed brightness. I don't have a way of measuring, but it certainly seems to kick out in the ballpark of what they claim, and is easily bright enough for my needs. And the throw is certainly up to spec, with a good, tight beam. It also comes with a cute little silicon diffuser sock.I thoroughly recommend this product, if you are looking for a well built, good performing 18650 flashlight at a budget price.

Great flashlight
This product was everything I expected it to be, from the battery life, to the brightness, and the durability. I carry it everyday and have been pretty rough with it, and it preforms fine. I would definitely recommend.
