Street Photography?
Easy to read and nicely illustrated BUT a lot of the chapters in the book are more to do with general photography and appear to be reworks of some of Bryan Peterson's other books rather than specifically to do with Street Photography. Yes there is a beautiful full page picture of light trails in what looks like Death Valley but is that Street photography. For those interested in candid photos there is no mention Zone Focusing or the best focal lengths to use and nearly all the photos are taken with a large DSLR/Zoom lens not the best thing if you want to be surreptitious on the street. The tag title "Compelling Images on the Street" is a better description of the book rather than "Understanding Street Photography".
