Exactly what we were use to
We didn't have Oakleys. We didn't have fancy plate carriers. An LBE, a soft cap, and a stick of dried up USGI face paint is how we rolled. If you can relate to this, if you can remember needing a lighter to apply face paint and USGI bug juice to get it off, if the small of your back is still damaged from the frame of an undersized frame to an ALICE large ruck, then you will remember this set-up.Go with what you know and have the muscle memory for, so if you remember the black boot army, then this is your carrier. Add four extra magazine carriers for a total of five on your belt (four for magazines and one for your hot sauce and spices) and don't forget to purchase some OD 100mph tape to keep your straps neatly tucked away, and you will be surprised how much your muscles will remember. Just add the smell of an Esbit tablet burning and you will be transported back to the mud and cold of Graf faster than you can say, "Who wants to carry the 60?". :-)

Good Equipment At a Good Price
I'm a former Marine('76-'79) so I am a little familiar with this gear.It arrived quickly and in great condition. The ammo pouch was torn by this seller quickly responded to getting me a replacement.I highly recommend this setup if you want to have options for carrying different kinds of gear and setting it up the way that's most comfortable for you. It's very easy to add another canteen to this setup or another ammo pouch or some other kind of gear.I plan to use this gear when I go walking or when I'm on my recumbent trike. It's well made and easy to maintain.I highly recommend this seller for the quality of their gear and responsiveness.

Good Value and Great Condition
Value: If you look around you can find these components for a better price buying them separately. However, you will most likely get hit with shipping charges from smaller dealers. I googled around and got a total from $38-42 for buying things separately not including shipping. The value is good. I would move that to "great" if two magazine pouches were included. You need two for a correct kit.Condition: Everything was in very good to excellent condition. The magazine pouch appears to unissued. All was sealed in a clear plastic bag with the contents labeled and NSN numbers included. Nice touch! Also keep in mind that most pistol belts are size medium as the guys and girls who wear this stuff for their job are young and lean. An LC2 in great condition and in a large size is harder to find. This belt will extend way out to around 50". This is by far the easiest US military pistol belt to adjust and the sizing increments are "infinite" with no defined holes you have to hit with hooks as in the earlier versions of this belt.Shipping was next day to Cincinnati. Final neat touch was that the belt I received was manufactured for the military by the Cincinnati Institute for the Blind. I had no idea they made such things.

Same Equipment I used in Vietnam
I don't really like all of the modern tactical vests, but I've added equipment to this belt quite easily. In 'Nam, I also carried a dagger mounted upside-down on my left shoulder strap, and am ready to unfasten the snap and pull it in less than two seconds. My primary armament is a Mosin-Nagant in 7.62x54r, using the Archangel stock and 10-round magazines. Two of these magazines fit neatly into the ammo pouch. My handgun holster is worn on my right side, quite comfortably.I don't know if younger people would like this setup ... military gear keeps changing constantly. But I feel all comfie-cozy with this setup.

Good old surplus!
A handy rig, exactly as pictured. It’s a perfect piece of good old surplus, and I am very satisfied. I bought it for hiking, so I could carry a good amount of gear without needed my backpack. and it does the job very well. The canteen looks brand new, and the mag pouch can be used for whatever. I cut the separator ribbons and use the pouch for binoculars and a few odds and ends. The belt is exactly what it should be, and the shoulder straps are easily adjustable. I absolutely recommend it, if you’re interested in it.

Responsive Seller Who Cares
Even though I had purchased the product in "like new" condition, the belt and the canteen sleeve were both shipped in broken condition. The belt is also not as pictured, being a 3rd generation buckle. Had the buckle been correct alongside the sleeve being workable, I would've been happy to give 5 stars.(EDIT): The seller was made aware of the issue and promptly sent out a response. They've sent a full replacement free of charge. Highly recommend!
