POHL SCHMITT Electric Can Opener with Knife Sharpener and Bottle Opener

This is my 2nd P.S. can opener- I will never have any other. The first broke when I dropped it on concrete. This is the best electric can opener out there- and reasonably priced. The piece that has the blade and magnet (to cut and secure the can lid) is super easy to pop in and remove for cleaning. That's it. Not difficult at all. This is the best designed electric can opener I have ever had. When compared with others, this one is tall and slender, weighted on the bottom (no wobbling, tilting), quick steady action, and has a pleasant sound when in use (not an annoying, loud grinding noise).

After trying several different brands, I FINALLY hit the jackpot! I started with a huge, 16 ounce can, and it worked VERY easily. It moves smoothly and quietly. The magnet is strong and I never had to pick up the can and start over. It works seamlessly, and easily. You just can't go wrong with 🇨🇭 products! This can opener is SLEEK and looks beautiful, too. I have no doubt that the built-in sharpener will work like a breeze.Just wanted to add that it's actually an AMAZING piece of machinery!! I just attempted to pry open a tin, you know, with that little flip thing that you pull (whatever it's called), and I just couldn't get it past about an inch. Currently, I have Carpal Tunnel in my left hand. Nevertheless, I placed the tin right underneath, as one would normally do from the beginning, and, to my ASTONISHMENT, it (the magnet) actually held onto the tin, and it went right through it, like a bull in a china shoppe!! I couldn't believe it. It stopped right where I initially pulled back the lid. No spills, no nothin'!!

Quick and easy assembly, can remove piece to wash. Small and does not take large amount of counter space. Knife sharpener and bottle opener on back of unit.

Works great

It works, not very great. The one I bought quit, so the company sent the newer version which does work, but you can only do normal size cans with it. Anything else and it immediately stops and you have to use a manual can opener.

I like the stainless steel look. I'm not sure about how loose the handle fits in the slot, it seems like it should be a little tighter, but it does the job. As long as it opens my cans...it's a pretty good value for $22.
