Jones StephensSioux Chief 3 in. Dia. Metal Bell Trap Drain

My old one was rusted out and wouldn't hold water in the trap letting sewer gas into the house. I was concerned about changing it out but it was much easier than expected. The bell portion is slightly larger than my old one. All I had to do was stick some rags in the pipe and chisel out some concrete, no big deal. The old one was easy to remove with a little prying. I applied caulking to the new one and set in place. No more sewer gas smell coming from the drain.

Nice sturdy product but a picture showing the notch on the underside should be shown so people know they might have to saw it off in order to use it.

Gave 3 star because poor description. No mention of actual size. Which is 8.75”x8.75”. Also is not bright green is dark grey. However is a well constructed piece of cast iron. Removable lid

It works in an old basement floor drain.

This is great for my driveway drain
