I've had a few of these. Started with cheap ond from another site. Then got a good one , it broke so opted for this one at a great price for the quality.The metal part is just that. Not cheap plastic. And the bottle which holds the liquid is much bigger than any of my previous ones. If your in any doubt buy it, you won't be disappointed.

Feels heavy and looks nice, but the soap comes out rusty.I have the polished and brushed versions - same problem with both. Soap always smells of rust and if it sits for a while can even come out orange/brown. It ruins your soap, so I cannot recommend this product.Another small design flaw is that liquid will seep into the container if the area around the dispenser gets wet (including cleaning product) - it's not ideal, but I could have overlooked this because the design is nice.

item was good but I changed it for a polished tap

We needed to replace our kitchen faucet, and the new one we chose has a side handle. When we turned on the water, the handle bumped into the soap dispensers we already had installed on the sink. We searched for a smaller profile soap dispenser, and these seemed to fit the bill. The dimensions were clear and accurate. These dispensers have a nice brushed nickel finish that matches our new faucet. The installation instructions are clear and it is technically easy to do - we just had some difficulty because we needed to install it behind the garbage disposal which made it a tight and awkward spot. They look great, work very well, and best of all the faucet handle now has plenty of room!
