the EZ-RJ connector will go down as a genius invention. how many other cheaper connectors have been discarded simply because 1 wire didn't make full contact and therefore would not allow gigabit ethernet to work? how many more have been lost because the same 2 of 8 didn't connect on one end of the cable? well this issue is behind us now, and the cable itself will be safer too with the strain relief.

As a Lutron PRO I’ve been making Ethernet cable for more than 15 years. No other crimping tool/connector system is as easy to use to cut and crimp RJ45-CAT5E and RJ45-CAT6 Ethernet cable as are these connectors.

Yes these RJ45's are more expensive but they do save a lot of time!No more guessing if the wires are in the correct sequence. Ensure optimum speed by pulling the ethernet cable all the way into the plug. Twisted pairs need to remain together as much as possible. These connectors make it easy to stay well below the required ¼" untwisted length of wire.If you are not a pro who can to RJ45's with his/her eyes closed these EZ-RJ45's are a must!

I like the design that allows each of the colored wires to protrude beyond the end of the connector so you can verify the correct color sequence. In order to take full advantage of these RJ45 connectors you should have the proper Platinum Tool Crimper and trimmer to cut the excess wires off.

These do make assembling CAT5 cables a bit easier.
