but eventually even the best tooth gets dull
I used this to cut a C shaped aluminium extrusion that was 2" x 2". Worked perfectly for most of the 45 cuts, but eventually even the best tooth gets dull. At that point, the aluminium ejecta gets hot enough to melt and clog the gaps between teeth. Once that happens, or once a tooth breaks off, STOP. It can be very dangerous to use any blade worn to that extent.
