Life saver
I have a metal roof, and it’s quite a fall from the second story. My gutters started to get clogged so as I was cleaning them out I realize it’s important to get a good safety line. This is easy to use, and works perfect with my harness I have. Very sturdy and I felt extremely safe. I would highly recommend.

Excellent lifeline assembly at a great price
I needed this to perform some work on a roof. I looked at the specifications on this lifeline and it met all of my needs. I had suspected that at such a good price some of the assembly would require close scrutiny. I can happily tell you they absolutely did not cut any corners on manufacturing any component of this vertical lifeline. The rope is perfect with the end terminations and clasp connections woven together and then covered with clear ABS shrunk down so there's no possibility of fraying. The shock absorber is 6 feet long when deployed and was rated for 900 lbs. with a breaking strength about 3 times that. All of the hardware is good quality plated steel and very heavy duty and I never felt uneasy about using any of it. The hand release rope slider worked very well. This was a great find. I looked around and you can barely get 100 feet of good nylon rope without the hardware at this price. Since I'm no spring chicken anymore, this lifeline really eased my mind about climbing on my roof. Thanks AFP.

Great quality safety rig and line
Great safety line for those who don't have an actual death wish and do elevated work. It's certified as compliant with ANSI Z359.13-13, ANSI A10.32-12, OSHA 1910, and OSHA 1926-M. The actual weight rating is for 130-310lb with gear. So be aware that if you're a big guy, you'll probably need to step up a level and get one with a higher rating. The snap hooks are both double action/locking as expected and they are tight but smooth to operate. I use this primarily while doing roof work and repairs, it allows me to anchor in and retain mobility. After falling once without a line, the wife won't let me get back up without one....I guess if she changes her mind at some point I should see if she took out a new life insurance policy on me.

Meets all OSHA specifications, but be sure your mount does!
A nice lifeline with great heavy duty rope clasps, and double safety latches on all. The end includes a fall protection restraint that attaches directly to your body harnesses dorsal clip. Don't use any additional connections or restraints here, just the lifeline to the dorsal. The only complaint if, is it is one, is that a storage bag of some kind would be nice, these are not something that I just throw into a tool box, as you need to be mindful of how you store this, you don't want it rubbing against other metal or hard items, that will easily damage the rope, and sadly if even one strand is frayed OSHA considers this to be damaged and not safe for use. A bag would help protect your investment and life!

LOVE the value! Quality line and smooth, double-action clips
Short of actually falling to test it, this lifeline seems to be top shelf quality and at a very competitive price. Certified with all the authorities you'd want, it should do the job well. The line is very heavy duty and the three-step clip movement is smooth.All-in-all a very good value. If this helps your purchase, please let me know.

A must in the construction industry
This is a very sturdy fall protection equipment, it is truly a must in the roofing business the rope is very sturdy and I would purchase this for my crew. I really liked the safety rope but my only complaint was to make it better, they should add a swivel snap. It’s a solid 4.5 stars.
