This cable extension was the perfect addition to my desk. I was able route out a slot in my desk and put this cable extension through it to make it look extremely sleek. No more wires coming up through my desk! I’m next going to use this for a monitor stand and connecting a qi charger to it, so that I can charge my iPhone through the stand.

I've been disappointed several times by the many flimsy connectors sold by so many vendors that it was a real pleasure to finally find a truly well-made product like this. These connectors are solidly made with molded housings. The cable is very substantial with built in shielding around the actual conductors. While it is not inexpensive this cable delivers the quality you are buying. I have plugged and unplugged these cables repeatedly without any failures whatsoever. Also, the included mounting screws are a welcome convenience. I've purchased this cable again and again and recommend it as the best product of its kind that I have seen..

I ordered a couple of these for an automotive project. I needed to have a panel mounted USB port so that a tech could plug in to upload firmware. This panel mount mini USB is perfect because it is small and it won't be confused as a charging port.

This was a nice cable somewhat cheaply made but worked perfectly for my applications. The only issue that I had with the product was that you need to be attaching this to a somewhat thick piece of material as the screws will not tighten down flush with the mounts making it fit loosely on anything that is very thin that you will be mounting this to, such as a computer case or some other tinkering project. Mine was on a 3-d printed case which I thought would have been a little thick or just about right for what this would have been mounted on but I had to modify the product slightly to make it work and not move around where it was mounted.

Ordered two. One nut was completely seized inside the panel connector side. The other cable had another nut that was not completely seized / stripped, but it wouldn't screw in. I made it work for my application though, I just drilled larger holes and popped the m3 nuts out of this to bolt these on using m4 nuts and bolts.

All it has to do is transmit power from point A to B, but can not even do that well. Unit works fine without cable, but with this cable I get non-stop under-voltage warnings.

So far seems to work just fine, I bought two for an electronics project and they fit the bills. No problems with shipment either.

I needed to provide easier access to a micro USB port on a 3D printer control board. This device worked as expected and I have had no issues.

You get what you paid for and that is a cheapily made connection extension, the female port only accepts about half a male plug. I wouldn't use it if you absolutely must have a stable connection.
