Delicious, precious, fresh (individuality wrapped) mini calissons- they were a perfect gift that almost didn't make it to the birthday girl. She kindly shared some, so I know how great they were. Will be ordering some more, but for me, this time.

Pretty, but wish the flavor was stronger
Was so excited for these after reading an article from a food mag. They are nice, and have a great texture - but the flavor was just sooooo subtle that I wouldn’t repurchase again at the price.

Bland, but Otherwise Okay
These small candies have a marzipan-like texture and taste. I couldn't detect the melon, as the flavor was quite subtle, even bland. They were fresh and I ate all of them, but I'd never buy again. I have a hard time believing this particular product reflects the traditional French calisson.

Tasty little cookie
Bought a small bag to try them out. They remind me of a Sicilian almond cookie but not as sweet. We enjoyed them but I feel you might need a more sophisticated palette to appreciate them.

Not worth the amount of money they cost
Heard about them on some show. The owners of the shop glorified these cookies to be something amazingly delicious! When I tried them I was disappointed in the texture. They were extremely mealy! Almost unpleasant to consume

I liked them but the film on the bottom of the candy was very distracting. unable to remove it , was not sure if it was supposed to be removed.

A favorite of mine while staying in Aix en Provence. I was so happy to find it on Amazon.These are a mini version and individually wrapped.Pairs nicely with wine or coffee.
