Jones Road The Face Pencil (Shade 7) QPPLM-29 0

I am not makeup phobic but don’t like to wear a lot. I really like my older (52 yrs) skin to look natural but “improved.” I have been hemming and hawing about trying Jones Road because when I buy product, I’m nervous buying it online for the first time, especially because I have very light skin that is lighter than “light” but not completely pale. I tried Jones Road pencil in shade 2 and What the Foundation in Fair. I am in love! The color is a perfect match and gives me that “not too much” makeup look. The coverage is nice and light and doesn’t look harsh at all yet leaves my skin looking fantastic.

I used the websites color matching tool to find the right color for me and though I was nervous, it was really perfect. It goes on nicely and provides light coverage and makes skin look clearer however it does not work like a true concealer to cover anything notable.

I felt as though it was dryer than I expected. According to the ads it would glide on and was creamy, but it did not. I returned it. Maybe it would be better if it came directly from Jones Road.

This is a poor product. It doesn’t spread well and it is SHORT. A waste of my hard earned money, will not buy anymore Jones Road or Bobby Brown’s product.

I saw an ad for this under eye pencil, it’s made for women in an older age group.Women that have under eye lines and bags really can’t use a liquid concealer because these products settle in the fine lines and make you look like a clown.I’m 67 years old and was looking for a product that made me look more awake.Couple of tips if you’re thinking of buying this product is to go to the Jones Road website and take the skin color test which will tell you the best shade to buy.Use an eye cream before you apply but let the eye cream set before applying the pencil.I also used a concealer brush and not my fingers I found it blends in better with a brush.I am happy with the product and will purchase again.Hope this helps some of you older ladies who still love ❤️ makeup but we find some products don’t love us .

I tried this concealer twice. It was relatively smooth to apply. Not messy. However, I would need a darker shade. I am of light complexion but I am a Black woman.I have not experienced any sensitivity to date.

I watched some videos on this product and it appeared to work well on facial spider veins but it does not. It doesn't hardly work at all. It just disappears. I primed skin and used three coats. 5 minutes later the veins were back. If you use a setting veil powder it cakes. Honestly not as good as drug store products I've used. Waste of money.

This product covers okay but is hard to blend. It's very expensive for what it is and there are superior products for much less. I'm keeping it only for emergencies because I can throw it in my purse and use it for a quick touch-up. Otherwise, meh.
