Best Value I could find
For a homeowner who doesn't do plumbing every day, these worked very well. I used to run Pex in my basement for a bathroom install with this tool. I ran both 1/2 and 3/4 with it and it performed well for both. I have more to do, so I will update if any problems come up, but so far this is a bargain tool. Ahead of time, I test crimped a few to make sure it didn't need to be adjusted. I went ahead and put it on the tightest mode, and the gauge said they were good crimps. If you have any experience with a go/nogo gauge, then there was no confusion. I understand most people wanting more clear instructions, but I thought they were straightforward. the line on the gauge should line up with the centerline of the hose. any less you need more crimp, if it passes the line, and you need less crimp. Adjustments were easy with a wrench. Effort to use tool was not unreasonable. Sure, longer arms would make it easier, but I like the compact nature of this tool. Some general tips for running pex plumbing I learned along the way: -- I did not buy a ring remover, and I had to cut off a few rings. I used a large pair of wire cutters with some elbow grease, and it worked. I still wouldn't spend the money on a tool for removal, personally. -- PLAN you runs before you start crimping. One of the aforementioned cuts happened because I crimped a piece on, then realized I could not fit the tool where I needed it to crimp the next leg- This is ESPECIALLY important on 3/4" pex due to the location on the crimper. -- after crimping, you do have the ability to rotate the fitting, although, it doesn't seem like a great idea to do a lot of, it is nice to know. -- buy a few more fittings than you need, don't open them until you use them, return the excess. This would have saved me a mid-project trip to home depot. As cheap and simple as this was, I think I will run air lines in my shop with pex now that I have this. 3 days in and no water leaks!

So much better than push fittings!
Goodness these are miles better than push fittings. This tool makes it so easy to use crimp fittings instead, and the crimp fittings are so much cheaper. Plumbing jobs and repairs become so much cheaper now. And I find it even easier easier to crimp a ring than push a pipe when you're standing underneath it and no step ladder or etc. Highly recommend crimp fittings if you've been using push fittings!

DIY friendly
The plumber asked for $700 to do one bathroom. Guess what? I did it for under $200. This is the best addition Iโve ever made to my toolbox.

Tools works great, well built, a great value
I used this to install pex for a new laundry room. It's a DIY project and first time I've done pex. The tool was well built and sturdy. I found it easy to use. Worked great for my little project. Great value for a tool that will crimp both 1/2" and 3/4".

Economical price
These are $80 at Lowe's. This one did a great job for me at half the price. Very well made and sturdy. Good for me as an occasional user.

It's the only way to go
I converted from Copper to Pex, and this tool was the best tool I have. Once You do one sweat to convert, the rest is cut and clamp. The shower hardware was plumbed in under 15 minutes without a leak. So flexible and easy to do.

Sturdy tool-works as it should
Bought this to add a spigot on the side of my house close to my cars. Liked the price which was about half of big box store price for similar tool. I have to say I was impressed with the sturdiness of it. Did probably 10-12 connections with it, cut the water back on, no leaks. Very happy with my purchase! I would definitely recommend it.

Good quality
For water hose valve replacement or any plumbing work. Itโs life saver. You might not needed for 364 days but for emergency. It works. And cheaper to pay plumbers for repairs

Good value and quality PEX crimping tool
I'm really pleased with this 1/2" and 3/4" PEX crimper. The tool's build quality exceeded my expectations for the price point. It was easily half the price of the cheapest tools at the orange home improvement box store. I've crimped about 15 PEX connections this afternoon and the tool has worked well. I used the included compliance gauge and all of them were within spec-- the tool was obviously properly calibrated from the factory. I like the positive "clunk" from the tool when the ring is fully crimped. Some of the other budget model crimpers I've tried were quite vague as to when you'd applied enough force, where these were much like my neighbour's $180 tool. I'm sure these will serve my needs for many years to come.

Quality precise tool
Bought for my contracting business after a few recommendations and the positive reviews. Seems well built and accurate. Includes the Go No Go gauge. Compared to the SharkBite version from Home Depot for $160, these pex crimpers are a must buy.
