It all depends on what you expect your outcome to be. This machine works well for my personal product as is. If you require a super close trim then this machine will still greatly speed up the process but some hand trimming will need to be done. I did remove the blade and sharpened it further on my work sharp. I've trimmed large, small, shaggy, and manicured flower, with this machine. It eats up the airy popcorn type flowers well and the trim out the bottom has made me some fine concentrates. All in all, for a person like myself that has more product than I want to deal with by hand but not enough to justify a several thousand dollar trimming machine this thing does the trick. Also I've had contact with the manufacturer with a few questions and they have been super helpful.

This thing sucks....I should have known with only 3 reviews.I'm an honest buyer not paid to review anything.. I bought this because it "looked professional".. it does not trim worth a crap.. I'm goning to be spending more time going back over my product. should have just light 300$ on fire. It's pretty much the same resultEdit 8/20.After one use of 8 hours the handle is lose with no way to tighten it back because of the folding design. The "screen" does not have large enough slots to really do the correct job. Instead of having lots of little sections it should just have a screen like other spinners. This is want attracted me to buy this one..I assumed the little sections would have allowed a better closer cut. I was dead wrong.The worst thing about this is the open top design. Just imagine weed eating with grass flying up into the air..pretty much the same...I never had to clean my trimming floor as much as I did after using this.There is honestly not one good thing about this spinner. No matter how much I try. There is nothing that comes close to a hand trim. This machine just makes your work look like you just don't care about the finished look.I sold this to a friend for 100$ since I know there was no way to return it after use.

Great time saver, replaces lots of scissors!Heavy duty machine has adjustable blade height for faster or more precise trim. No plastic top to remove each time or break. Solid frame and movement better than my other machines. I expect this machine to last longer than any machine I've seen so far. Great value for the dollars spent. Will buy again

It's great for a small operation like mine where I don't have much help. I would hand trim the top colas and everything below I'd throw in this and it did a decent job. You get a feel after a while of how much to spin it for the amount you want trimmed.

Does a great job for the price. It performs best with dry herbs if you add a spacer to the blade.
