Works perfect!
There are a little hard to clip onto each other so I definitely suggest a hammer. They’re pretty easy to trim if you have sharp scissors. I love it though and it fits perfect as a lid!

Sturdy
These are sturdy and cheap protection for the bottom of the tank with heavier hardscape. I haven't tried to snap them together yet, but I don't actually care if they snap together. I'll be using these to support a lot of shale, and I have no doubt they'll work great. They fit in my 29 gallon great.

Using for a fish tank top
I bought this set to use as a top for my 55 gallon fish tank. It works perfectly and can be cut easily. I have holes cut in the top for food and plants to grow. It lets a lot of good light in. I got rid of the top that came with my kit and upgraded lights. I was hoping this would work as a top and it does. Just an idea if you are looking for a good cheap aquarium top that works great and will keep your jumpers in, if you have some of those :)

Incredibly difficult to piece together
The product is great. The quality of the material itself seems to be fine. What I’m having trouble with is putting multiple pieces together. Im not sure what the tolerance is on the tabs, but they’re just slightly too big to fit easily into the grooves of the dividers. I’m going to try later today to use a hammer to put them together, and I’m sure that’ll work, but I just wish I could put them together without the need for a lot of force.

Works for a top cover
I had the standard egg crate top I bought at Lowes and to my surprise, I had a diamond goby somehow jump through one of the small holes and die on top of the grid. The options for upgrade were glass, netting, or this product which has smaller holes. These are a little tough to assemble, but if you line them up correctly and then tap them together with a hammer they will fit. I then used a pair of side cutters to get a clean flush cut where I needed to resize or make cutouts. I bought enough to do one side of my 90 gal to make sure it worked. A few weeks later I bought enough to do the other side. These are pretty sturdy, have smaller holes than the standard egg crate, and don't block as much light as the standard as they are thinner. Overall a great buy.

Works well, but not easy to set-up.
I needed something to split a 10 gallon tank that would allow my shrimp to pass through, but not by bettas. So far, this seems to be doing the job. However, it was difficult to cut to the exact size I needed. It also does not come with anything to help secure it in place. It is probably the best option for what I needed, I just wish it had been easier to set-up.

Misunderstood product - Snaps easily with gentle taps of a hammer
So, this product is a bit on the thin side. I am using it to protect the bottom of a 40 gallon aquarium since I will be placing some large river rocks in it. Anyway, I almost gave up trying to snap these together with my bare hands. Then I had an epiphany! I lightly tapped each stub into its corresponding notch with a hammer and it worked like magic. I was able to snap 6 pieces together as a rectangle that fits perfectly on the base of my aquarium. Anyway, once in place, they don't seem to come apart easily.
