Perfect for our use
We have a drawer inside a drawer in our kitchen island. Since we use the inside drawer more frequently (silverware & accessories). we wanted something that could hold that drawer so that it opened when we opened the big drawer. This fit the bill. Now the silverware drawer opens with the big drawer. If we need the pots, the magnets easily release with a little push. Perfect solution

Works okay, with some modifications
This works okay, but the design has some deficiencies and the hardware is imperfect too. What's good:The magnet is quite strong, so long as the magnet is in full contact with the metal plate. The L shaped design is very minimal. It's small enough that I was able to put it in front of the shelf, rather than hanging below it.I like that the latch has screw holes, so that I don't need to rely on the stickers. The stickers might work well, but screws are usually much better. What's not good:The metal plate has some countersink holes so that the screws can be flush with the plate. The problem is that the countersink hole is too small (or the screws too big) so the screw heads stick out past the plate. This means that the magent cannot actually touch the plate and the magnet is very much weaker. You can fix this by drilling out the holes a bit with a very large drill bit. Do this a bit at a time until the screw fits flush with the plate. The risk here is that the plate is probably chrome plated steel rather than stainless steel, so then plate will eventually rust. At least it sticks better.Another problem is with the design. Because the magnet is on a flat plat, when the cabinate door closes it will bounce off the magnet. You have to hold the cabinate door closed for a second to prevent it from bouncing open again.Other magnetic latches have a different design that will absorb the impact and avoid the bounce. The problem with that design is that the latch is a lot more bulky.Other thoughts:Other reviews said that the screws were weak and the heads broke off when screwed into the wood. I had no problems with that, but I also predrilled pilot holes first (which you should really always do anyway). At about $2 each, the latch is fairly priced. Given that the latch bounces when I close the door, I'm not sure that I will use the other 3 laches, which means I'm playing $8 for that one latch. That's expensive. :-(Although the latch bounces when you close the cabinate door, the only defect with this product is the poorly sized plate holes, so I'll only deduct one star for that. I would maybe remove a half star for the bounce, but I this was the design that I was looking for, and so I don't want to penalize the rating just because the L latch didn't work as well as had hoped.

Basic is good!
The more basic, the better: This one fits the bill, is easy to install, and does what it's designed to do. What else could one ask for?

Excellent quality, easy install
Magnet strength excellent, price good. Easy to install, no bulky plastic frame. Will definitely purchase more in the future.

I like them
The problem I had is that there weren’t enough adhesive strips on the pack and then the adhesive stopped working and I can’t fit a screw into the surface I’m using it on. The area is too tight

Finally a solution!
I recently installed a glass shower door enclosure, and over the past few weeks something shifted, and the door won’t stay closed. I racked my brain for a solution that didn’t involve tearing it all apart to fix. I found these magnets, and they did the trick! I am seriously impressed with the strength of the magnets. Not only do they keep the door shut now, I actually need to apply a fair amount of force to open the door now (which is a good problem to have). My only complaint is the the adhesive strips that came with the magnets were crumpled and crushed in the box and only 2 strips were useable. Luckily, I alreadyhad a roll of 3M industrial double sided tape that did the trick, but that would have been a deal breaker for most.

Very strong magnet. Not great screws.
Purchased these to secure double closet doors and they are strong enough for it. They are easy to install and aren't ugly. The only issue I had is with the included screws. The don't sit flush and therefore doesn't allow the magnet to sit on plate. It only makes contact with the edges of the screws and barely hold the doors closed. The included double sided tape worked for a little while, but ultimately failed. I have since purchased the correct screws. Overall I am pleased with the purchase, but the seller should pay better attention to how all the parts fit together.

Sounds good in description but I’ll test it’s strength when I get a moment.
The latch was received with mounting screws for attachment of two plates to cabinet. Each latch has six holes. Two countersunk and four are drilled through. All of the screws are for countersunk holes. Looks a bit hokey.
