Fantastic Protein Mix
I love this protein plus collagen powder mix. The Aztec Vanilla is fantastic. Easy mixing powder. I will definitely buy this product again.

Pricey but definitely my favorite!!
I have ordered a lot of protein powders and collagen powders and I have to say that this combo powder is my favorite BY FAR! I actually like this flavor more than all the other protein flavors from this brand. Pretty pricey for the size of the item, but I will continue to buy!

Tastes kind of like toasted coconut instead of vanilla; doesn't mix that well
I had previously ordered a PaleoPro product in the Aztec vanilla flavor, but they sent me the ancient cacao instead. I was curious what the vanilla tasted like, though, so I decided to give this one more shot. This time, I did get the product I order and was able to give the vanilla flavor a shot. I do not care for it. I don’t hate it by any means, but I don’t really like it. I don’t think it tastes much of vanilla. Somehow, I think it tastes a little like roasted coconut even though there is no coconut in this product. Well, actually, I’m not really sure because it lists “natural flavors,” and I have no idea what that includes. While I don’t think it includes any actual coconut (they would have listed it because of a potential allergen issue), it’s possible that the natural flavors include something that has a coconut-like flavor. The ingredients do not list vanilla, so there is none of that in it either. In addition to the flavor issue, this has to be one of the worst-mixing protein powders that I’ve tried. The other PaleoPro product that I tried mixed just fine, but this takes a bit of work (though I suppose a blender might work well), and there is some graininess to it before it finally hydrates fully. It might be all right if the drink is made ahead of time to give the powder more time to absorb the liquid.I think this tastes better in milk than water. It has a lot of protein, so you could stretch this to 30 servings of 10g instead of 15 servings of 20g, which puts it more in line with a lot of other protein powders. I think the 15 servings makes this look like a bad value, but 30 servings of 10g of protein for $30 isn’t too bad. What is unclear to me, though, is how much of the 20g of protein is collagen. If you looked at this like 15 servings of 10g of protein for $15 plus 15 servings of 10g of collagen for $15, if that’s how the protein is distributed, that is a decent value. This doesn’t really offer much beyond the protein/collagen. There’s a little bit of potassium and a tiny bit of calcium and fiber.

Lots of good stuff here! Could do without the sweetener.
I've been using collagen powder for a while now, and have noticed some real changes. They started with my digestive system, and now I see them in my hair, skin, and nails. I've tried several different brands, but this is the first flavored one I've tried.I love that it has all five types of collagen. It is only the second one I've tried that has all five, so I have to wait a bit longer to see if the other three types make as much of a physical/internal difference. The powder seems a bit thick and on the damp side, but it mixes well in my morning coffee and in my overnight oats. It takes a little longer to stir into my coffee, as it wants to stay on top, but after a minute or so of slow stirring, it dissolves completely, leaving no nasty powdery or gritty stuff behind. The Aztec Vanilla flavor is nice, but I could do without the sweetener. Not everyone has the same taste level for sweetness, so having it the same in every serving does not do the product justice. Some may pass it by or not repurchase for that reason alone.I really like that I can half the serving to get the serving I prefer. My body does not require so much protein, so I can get twice as many servings from the container, giving me even more for my money. This collagen powder is packed with all five types of collagen, has a great vanilla flavor, and mixes well in both my hot morning coffee and overnight oats (cold). Though I'd much rather it be unsweetened, it's tolerable for me at a half serving. I would recommend it!

Get Rid of the Monk Fruit & Use Real Vanilla THAT Would be Perfection
I have this in the evening to avoid eating too close to bed. This gets rid of the beginning hunger pangs, but I digest it quickly enough that it doesn't interfere with my bedtime. The monk fruit is pretty nasty. I mix this with a scoop of organic cocoa powder & a teaspoon of organic sugar cane. I find the sugar helps to cut down on the unpleasantness of the monk fruit. I do wish they left the monk fruit out entirely. To clarify, I make this as a hot cuppa. I heat up about 12 oz. of water, add a heaping spoonful of cocoa powder, sugar, then a scoop of this. I start to slowly pour the hot (not boiling) water into my mug while running a hand held frother. The end result is a nicely whipped up & filling beverage that acts as a nighttime treat albeit one that would be much better without the monk fruit.I love the smell of this, but there is no actual vanilla in it which is pretty disappointing. It's "natural flavors" which could be any combination of like a bazillion different bits of whatever the fart...
