too expensive
way too expensive. You can get a similar product at Lowes for $4 a bag. It started fading color the first week. Do not waste your money!

It's not black
When the black mulch I ordered was delivered I couldn't figure out why they shipped it wet until I placed it in my flower bed and as soon as it dried out it turned brown! I expected products from Scott's to be good quality and as advertised but I guess I was wrong.

Plastic everywhere
Scotts a name brand? What a joke, very poor quality control at this company for sure!!!! I bought a bag at the local Ace hardware, and within a dozen handfuls found TWO PIECES OF PLASTIC!!!!!! I don't want to eat or consume plastic, not only that I will be littering on my property and poisoning the ground at the same time, crazy!!!!!! Unacceptable for sure!!!! First and last purchase!!!!!! Never again SCOTTS, YOU FAILED!!!!!

Trash in mix
I've been finding hard pieces of plastic, that I assume is chipped off of equipment, along with dyed shreds of plastic bags in my recent purchase. Yeah, the color looks nice, but mulching my beds with trash isn't what I had in mind.

Pay Attention, but Don’t Pay this Price.
Last weekend, Lowe’s had this same product on sale, 5 bags for $10, yes, $2 a bag. Their “normal” price is about $3 a bag.
