Outstanding value/performance for an RV range hood fan control
This product was easy to install in my RV, providing variable speed control all the way from zero to full for my Jensen RV range hood fan. Prior to installation, the fan was one-speed only, very loud, and therefore rarely used. This fan control, complete with the knob and the nut for installing, was easy to add to the Jensen RV hood, without even removing hood. Simple to connect, with the positive and negative supply terminals labeled on the back of the circuit board, and the remaining two terminals for the output to the motor. Connecting the motor first, then the negative and positive supply leads, leaving the exisiting switch in place and drilling one hole to mount this circuit board, the unit is completely contained within the hood, under the same protective cover that covers the range hood light and fan switches. Now, when the switch is flipped, it turns on the fan to whatever speed I have set on the variable speed control. As a side note, the variable speed control DOES have an "off" position, so it could be used to completely replace the switch (but I left my switch in place - otherwise I'd have to figure out how to cover the switch cutout).Great product, excellent value, works perfectly, arrived quickly.

Works great!!!
Oh my wire this up on a 12 V fan for an RV for my ice chest cooler AC to be able to regulate the speed of the fan. It works great so far, if it fails at any point, I’ll update this review. It’s a 10a fan that I’m using. Make sure you don’t wear it backwards, it will not work if you do. I figured that out when I noticed that the circuit board is labeled, one-sided for the motor, and one side is for Battery in

HOT
I don't know what I did wrong but as soon as I connected this to a 3v power supply, it got VERY HOT.

Well packaged, reliable, cool operation
Doesn’t heat up like some others. I use it to run a fan at reduced speed continuously for 3-4 days at a time and it is holding strong! Installed for about 2 weeks now. Doesn’t heat up. Came well packaged. Great price for this.

these work very well as a small vent fan controller,
would buy agsin fan can be set to queitor hifh vent would buy again

They work.
Easy PWM of signals while not interfering too much in the current. I use them to drive 12v and 24v LED strips. They reliably dim anything and don't seem to be damaged by currents less than 4A @ 24v. That's quite a bit of brightness in cool white LEDs.

Dissapointed
I wired the controler into a 29v dc supply with a 1.5A motor but the condenser to the left of the control knob blew up emitting smoke.

Saved my kids school project
I know very little about the inner workings of electronics. When my daughter wanted to build a model of a flying eagle off to the googles I went. We refurbished an old RC car motor, 3D printer some parts but found out I needed a way to regulate the voltage going to the motor so the bird would not go crazy flapping. Never using something like this I was easily able to connect the motor to the battery and control the flapping speed of the model bird. The project was a hit at school thanks to this part.
