I have a very old house with plaster walls so using the traditional nail in the wall is definitely not what you want to do if you can avoid it. Ive been trying t9 get this picture up for months. Ordered heavy duty Compaq straps, they wouldn't stay. Then I bought the biggest size with the same results. Then I was reading buzzfeed and saw these guys. I figure let's give them a go. Perfect on the first try. It's been over a month & it hasn't moved. The name brand Compaq strips held the picture for maybe 20min & 2hrs for the bigger set. And this picture is not heavy. It's only printed sheet & the frame. It's just bulky. The only thing I would check is hook size. These were almost too big where you could see the bottom of the hook through the cloth. But moving the picture slightly remedied that issue.

These are the best sticky hooks I've ever used. Finally, I've found something where I can hang my step ladder, wreaths on a glass storm door, many numerous items throughout the household. These have a wider adhesive strip, with a study metal hook and adhere nicely. I did use two, spaced evenly apart for my step ladder to give extra holding power. I found if I attached the hook to the adhesive strip before peeling the adhesive back off to hang, it was easier for me. I have tried many name brand hooks, which were also more expensive, which did not work or hold up to the job like these sticky hooks do. I ordered the large box since I intend to use these in the places I can't hammer a nail in. I made use of closet, pantry, laundry room doors and inside closets to make better use of the space I have. I plan on using them in many other areas as I organize and clean up my space.

I used these to hang curtain rods in an apartment. Worked out perfect! No nails. No holes.

i accidentally bought these instead of the other ones with the fixed hook and round center adhesive part, but they work about the same as far as i can tell so far. other than the hook part jiggling around a lot more, i'm happy with them. they stick well and are very easy to use.

But only on very smooth surfaces.
