I bought this on May 3, 2016. I have received many compliments on it. It has lasted both around my neck M-F and at the bottom of my work bag otherwise. It is very hardy and still pretty shiny. I was concerned the chain would dull or tarnish. It is still very bright. There are a few areas that did tarnish and I've included photos with my review. The lobster claw clasp used to hold your ID tarnished minimally. The snap charm itself tarnished quite badly but I purchased a multi-pack of eight snap charms to swap in and out with my outfits and threw out the tarnished one. I rarely used the blue snap charm that came with the lanyard so you will see it hardly has any wear in the photosPros:Beautiful, shiny even after months of use, I continue to receive many complimentsSturdy, I've gotten it caught on quite a few things and it has never broken. This lanyard is exactly what I wanted. I needed something to which I could attach my badge and fob, but I wanted it to look nice, not dorky like those cloth lanyards. I really like that I can change the snap charm to match my outfit. I actually attach a small, chrome (silver colored) badge reel to the clamp at the bottom of the necklace so I don't strangle myself trying to unlock the door with my fob. I like that this lengthens the whole necklace/lanyard so my badge isn't dangling right on my boobs. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because it comes with only 2 snap charms and it's a little expensive.PROS:- Long chain- pretty, looks like jewelry instead of a badge holder- adaptable, can change the charms to match lookCONS:- expensive- links do pull out some hair on the back of the neck- only comes with 2 snap charms- a little heavy with the added reel, badge, & fobOverall, I would recommend this lanyard to anyone wanting a prettier/less dorky way to wear their id badges.

This piece is very pretty. It is very well made and looks like a nice piece of jewelry. I purchased this for a cruise hoping it will make it easy to keep up with my room key, money etc. This is not only going to be functional but pretty to wear. I ended up purchasing more of the snaps so that I could change it up all week. I attend many conferences during the year and am always wearing a cheap shoe string type lanyards so now I can replace those with this nice piece.

Ok, so I would have given it 5 stars. I absolutely love it....however, today after wearing for about 4 months the clasp that holds my name card broke. It broke in a way that is unfixable/usable as the clasp does not close. I did not complain to the vendor and simply ordered another since it is relatively inexpensive and figured for the amount of wear and tear that it gets being worn everyday I would be replacing at some point...just did not expect to do so soon.Other than that I love, love the design of the snap holder and chain.

I had never heard about snap jewelry when I found this lanyard. I just needed a lanyard for my work badge. The chain seems pretty strong and thick. The clasp swivels which keeps the chain from twisting when my badge flips while I'm moving around. The sunburst design is simple, but pretty. And I love the 2 snaps that came with it. A silver button with a "diamond" and mini portion of Van Gogh's Starry Night. I've had a ton of compliments. I will definitely be ordering more snaps! The only negatives I have is that it is just a little too long for me and wish it was adjustable. I work at a desk so every once in awhile my badge will get caught on my keyboard tray. I will say my torso is short, so for a taller person this may not be a issue. Or for someone who does not work at a desk. And my hair on the back of my head has got caught in the chain and pulled a little. This has only happened maybe 2 or 3 times in the 2 months I've been wearing it.

UPDATE 3/14/16: The seller contacted me immediately and offered to replace the chain and to send out a couple of free snaps for my inconvenience. Therefore, that makes this a 5 star experience, since (in the world of impersonal online purchases) I would always rather spend my money with a seller who actually cares and who is paying attention. Excellent customer service, would feel very confident buying from this seller again.When I received this, I was delighted. It was gorgeous and it looked very well made; unfortunately, within a couple of weeks, the chain broke in such a way to where it is impossible to fix it. I wasn't exerting any undue pressure or stress on it, it simply broke from very normal, light usage. I cannot recommend this item.

I really like this badge holder. I like the options with the snaps and that you can change it with your outfits.The only thing wrong was the chain. It is CHEAP!!!. I PUT IT ON RIGHT FROM THE PACKAGE AND IT BROKE. I contacted the seller and never heard back. I bought my own chain. I would have given it 4 stars if the chain had not broke or if the sell had fixed the problem.

Beautiful and sturdy, especially for the price! I’ve used it 5 days a week, 8+ hours a day for over 4 months now and it’s pretty great, my only knock is that the chain has tarnished slightly (a bit of an orangey color, not green) when I tried to clean it with windex. I live in Florida so it gets sweaty so I prefer something that can be wiped down (not cloth) but maybe I should have just used water. Regardless, I’d likely purchase this one again - and I love the choices for the center gem, I change it to match my outfit!

Not sure how to find and edit my original review; however, in it I commented that the chain broke almost immediately. I wasn't complaining because it was my own fault. In less than a week, a completely new item was shipped to me. I did not expect that, and am very impressed with the customer service. Happy to report that the chain is holding up wonderfully, and I continue to receive numerous compliments on the piece.
