Cheap and easy
I'm not really sure what you could complain about for the money. I needed the cheapest mount possible to temporarily hold a gauge before I could get a gauge pillar in place. This worked great, and I thought it was good enough to mount permanently if I wanted to. It's actually thicker than the gauge pillar material. Nice thing about it being thin is you could easily cut it to shape for an odd shaped dash. Just saying.

Being at the age I am, I've learned ANYTHING plastic if not painted will degrade and by design due to a lack of a chemical that UV stabilizes plastics. Just consider greenhouse plastic covers. So I painted it a gray I wanted and all is well. Kind of wish there were 4 holes for screws though.

Made well, does the job.
Made well for the price. The long housing covers the installation hole and wires. Made large enough around the gauge hole you can install the pinch ring on the back of the gauge to keep it tight. Works for me, would buy again.

Well worth the money.
Nice product, very thick plastic. I added a switch to the side and was surprised at the strength of this housing. There was plenty of room for the switch and extra wiring. I would buy again if needed

Looks and works great. Wish it had a retaining ring with it, I just used a hose clamp with felt tape on the gauge.

Hope is 2 1/8”
The media could not be loaded. Nice pod for the gauges. As other reviewers said no screws but wasn’t advertised with screws. I decided on two way tape which worked well.The reason for 3 star and not 5 is solely on the size of the opening. Advertised a 2” hole. It’s not. It’s a 2 1/8” hole but nothing a little tape around the gauge wouldn’t fix to give it a snug fit.
