The latex stuff is hard to control where it goes. I had to use a towel to get it all off when it was time to remove it. The gel polish remover is so cool!! It’s really thick, I thought it was dried out at first. I had to put it on more than once to get all the gel off (I may not have waited long enough before trying to push the gel off my nail) but it beats soaking you fingers in acetone!! I was super skeptical about this product, and I am surprised with how well it works and happy with it!

I've always had difficulty with successfully removing gel nail polish until I tried the Louinstic Gel Polish Remover Kit. Have you ever put remover on a piece of furniture? Well, this has a similar action but obviously it's not as strong or made for furniture stripping! You apply the remover to your nail and in just a few short minutes, your polish will start bubbling up and you can take your nail polish remover stick and gently scrape off the gel nail polish. It cut my polish removal in 1/2 the time and it did a fantastic job of removing all the hard to remove gel polish. I can't say enough about this product and highly recommend it if you polish your nails with gel polish.

It does work but is a messy procedure. Took off all the gel polish but left my nails dry. I guess there is no better way to remove gel.

I love being able to take off my gel polish this way. Much easier than putting acetone on cotton and wrapping nails in foil! It's imperative that you first file off the clear coat, if you don't get it off the gel remover will take a long time (the coarse file included is perfect for this step). The product goes on very thick, but this is better than having it drip. After about 2 minutes, the polish started pulling up. I used the included scraper tool which worked great. I will buy this again!

So I'm new to the whole acrylic nails thing, so maybe this is my ignorance.The videos all show what looks like the gel polish just kind of sliding off. When I pained this thick gelatinous remover on, it immediately bubbled up just like I'd seen. But after 5 minutes when I tried to push the polish off, it was all sticky and stringy like mozzarella cheese, and I didn't understand why. Until I realized it was eating my acrylic nails too!By the time the polish was gone, 90% of my acrylic nails had gone with it. An expensive lesson. Thankfully I had tried the other method (filing the gel off) on my other hand, so I only have one hand to repair. The one hand I did use this on looks quite ugly now though.The latex works fine and the oil seemed to absorb into my cuticle quite easily without an oily residue, so I suppose I'll use those, but it's quite likely the next time I use the remover will be to strip paint off of something I think won't dissolve under it, like glass or something.Wish I'd known, I'd have just filed the gel off and saved myself the money and bought just the latex.

I've tried several brands of the gel remover and this one works the best. The cuticle oil is great, too. It's easy to apply and it soaks in pretty quick without that greasy feel. Haven't tried the 3rd product yet. I bought it fir the remover and oil.

This product saves my life! So far, I’ve used it 3 times. No more using an e-file to remove gel polish! You just have to remove the topcoat before applying the remover. It works in a minute. It comes off easily. The company also provide you with tools that you could use to assist you in removing the polish. Will definitely be purchasing again.

I purchased this to remove gel polish applied at salon. I do not like how a salon removes the polish. It damages my nail bed and cuticles.This product doesn’t work like the video. I followed directions exactly and had to due process 3 times and it still didn’t come off.The “glue” to protect cuticles does work but the product doesn’t remove polish as shown in video.

works amazingly well.one of the reasons i hated gel nail polish was the process of trying to remove it, with the fingers wrapped i tinfoil and acetone dripping all over your finfers, etc...This makes things soo much easier and less messy. I am so glad i heard about it and gave it a try...If some areas are not sofetrened by the first time, you can reapply another coat of gel and it will make it flakey

I quite like this set and I am pleased with how well and how cleanly it works if you follow the instructions.I think the key is making sure that you file off the top coat of your gel polish before starting the removal process. If you do that, it works beautifully! It took me only about 15 minutes from start to finish and left me with nicely clean nails. The triangular removal tool worked great and got into the "corners" nicely, leaving me with nice fresh fingernails. Once the gel polish was all removed, I then applied the included oil that is designed to nourish and lubricate the nails, cuticles, and surrounding skin and I think that it does the job nicely as it feels great.I think that people having trouble with it might have skipped the first step of filing off the top coat? Either that or perhaps the gel polish that they have on their nails is super strong or something, because it worked very well for me and it didn't take multiple applications.Also, this was the first time that I've ever tried a latex protector product and I think that I was a little bit off on the way that I applied it but it still worked well and was easy to remove after I was finished, and I was happy to have that layer of protection for the surrounding skin while the remover was doing its work.Overall, I think that this is a really nice little set and that it will only get better when I have a little more experience in the application. I feel that it does indeed work as advertised and I am happy with it!
