This mom is very absorbent cleans very well
I have used this mop for over 30 years. I first started using it when Mr. Derby A door to door sales person who came to our home periodically sold this mop to me. I have used it ever since . Mr. Derby was from Hanford very dedicated and knowledgeable about the fuller brush products and very professional an honest trustworthy and resopecful door to door salesman. There is just something about that mop that I’m a little disappointed with, the bracket that attaches to the mop head gets rusted and I frequently need to Replace the handle from time to time but the mop is so absorbent cleans the floors so well I can’t think of what I would do if they discontinued manufacturing that mop. I Have one for the kitchen one to use in the pool house I another one that I use for the bathrooms. This mob is better than all these other ones that have been put out in my opinion this month really works for me it mops large areas before having to rinse it again just a wonderful mom I hope they don’t change the yarn quality they are they use is just perfect absorbs very well and mopped well the mop last a long time I give it a beating and it just lasts and lasts until some of the yarn starts falling off off and it gets sparse but that is due to the bleach that I sometimes Use too much of it.

Easy to use, though a warning!
Overall, I really like these mop heads and get many uses from each replacement head. I have found that if I thoroughly rinse the head with a little bleach and water and then leave it to hang dry over my laundry tub, it extends the life of the mop head. This justifies the cost per replacement head. They are easy to attach and detach from the pole and give good floor coverage when I mop. The heads also give good scrubbing power for stubborn spots on floors. I do, however, have one main issue with this product. The strands on the mop often get so tangled over the top of the attachment that I sometimes need to untangle them. Normally, this would't be much of a problem, but there are a few sharp metal parts on the pole and replacement heads, so you have to be careful not to let the strands get to flipped over the top of the attachment too much because you can scratch your floors (mine are wood). It would have been helpful if the manufacturer found a way to round or cover the sharp metal edges more (particularly the screw) in some way, aside from with the strands on the mop. Compared to other mops I have tried, I have found these to be the most sanitary and efficient. I will continue to buy these, but just a warning to other users regarding the potential for scratches if you aren't careful.

EXCELLENT MOP HEAD
My heavy handed home health aide broke two mops - A Quickie Sponge Mop (how do you break that???), as well as a fancy new type of microfiber mop with a self squeezing bucket. That broke in one day. I finally said to myself, I have to supply her with an indestructible spaghetti mop like my Grandmom and Mom used in the 1940s and 50s. Finally, after much searching, I ordered from the good old Fuller Brush Company, a nice metal handle and this mop head to go with. I was worried I'd have trouble attaching - no such thing. Simple if you just follow the instructions. She's used it twice - still in one piece. I detach the mop head after use and put on the extra one I bought. Wash it in a Rubbermaid dishpan with Palmolive liquid dish detergent. Rinse thoroughly and hang outside to dry. The perfect old fashioned type mop - they don't make em like this anymore - glad I found it on Amazon.
