Ultimate Bo 4 DVD Set - Beginner to Black Belt Bo Staff Training

It is a good video easy to follow I would recommend to others for beginning Bo to Advance training .It was what I wanted

they were great DVDs but limited to only a couple of views so you have to really study it to see what he is doing. Other than that they were great!

I had to write a review here as I ordered this based partly on the good reviews. I had visited their website and was impressed with the instructor (in the videos on their site, which BTW were completely different than what is in the DVD's here), then viewed the reviews here and thought, this will be good instruction and fun to do with my son. I was surprised when I popped this in because the quality was VERY poor. (Empty basement/studio, bad camera focus, not very good microphone.) I could get over the bad studio, but then there was the content. There was not much instruction involved, more like demonstration from a teenager who hadn't had much experience teaching anyone. I thought I received the wrong order. I re-read the package aloud and asked my son, who is 7 yo, did I miss something? We were both disappointed. I could get better quality video AND instruction from youtube for FREE! If you are truly a beginner, and want a quality product, this is not for you. I really wanted to like this BUT, for the first time ever, I have to return something to Amazon.

If you're a legit beginner I would recommend this for you, but if you know anything about the staff I'd advise moving on. Everything on this I learned from the ninja turtles and kung-fu movies. Not sure how old it is, but it looks like he set up a hand held on a tripod and hit record. Still, if you're interested in learning the staff, this is a decent way to start.

Ultimate BO is a wonderful experience when it comes to hard work. Work as hard or as sporadicly as you want.SenseiHodge is a very skilled instructor, he has a way of making you feel as though you are his only Pupil. When itcomes to training, your instructor is in the D.V.D. You can fast forward, rewind, pause. Try that in a DoJo and see if the instructor will go for it. I doubt it especially when it comes to slow motion. Sensei Hodge does not mind, try him.The exercise I get is great. I am 50 something & need a little extra motivation. Ultimate BO has made me stretch and exercise. Because I want to advance in my overall health, I made the right choice.There are many Martial Arts courses being offered over the Internet now. Distance Training from Sensei Hodge is the first of its kind. Go with proven leadership. Onward & Upward.

My son got this video for his bow staff and he really liked it. The instruction given is very good and he understood all the moves.

Received as gift, concise and well made, easy to follow.Really enjoying myself learning this.Recommend for any Bo enthusiasts.
