Fantastic product, fantastic seller!
UPDATE: I am so disappointed to report that the rod has rusted. It started after a year of use and I tried to prevent it spreading by coating with WD40 - unfortunately to no avail. To be fair, the rod has stayed firmly in place and I love the added space from the design, but the aesthetic is totally ruined as it is being eaten by rust. Very disappointed in what was almost a perfect product. Note: the one I bought for my sister is rusting as well.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I shopped around, then finally decided on this version of the curved tension shower rod because although there were only 4 reviews, they were all stellar. Yes, this product cost more than the others, but this is one instance of truly getting what you pay for. I am so, so, so happy with my decision. I installed the rod myself, which was a little tricky, but the instructions were easy to follow and it went up beautifully. Those who have more patience, more friends and who may not be as limber as me may want to enlist the help of a buddy.I've had this up roughly two months and it is literally hanging in there like a champ. I take very hot showers and have one of those bathrooms where the walls get super moist and slimy despite running the vent, and this sucker has not budged. It instantly made my bathroom look more spa-like, it totally adds space in the shower to better accommodate my 6'3" other, and it completely eliminated the annoying "blow in" by the shower curtain liner when the air cuts on.I LOVE this rod. I bought one for my sister and couldn't even wait until Christmas to give it to her. It's that awesome.I should also mention that this seller was very communicative and pretty wonderful. Anyone watching this will notice price fluctuations, and this seller graciously refunded the difference when the price dropped.Happy all around. You should buy this.

Does the job and does it well
We installed this the day we received it. It's been in service well over a week at this point.Aside from a shower curtain, it also supports a heavy, wet, bath towel, a wet facecloth, and a few grooming agents (meaning it's supporting some weight, at times 4-5#).Make sure you read the instructions front to back first. The rod attaches directionally (up is definitely up, left is definitely left), and is an easy job which does require two people and possible a stepstool depending how high you place the rod.All in all a good and worthy product.

Much like the Original
We moved so I wanted to replace the rods we had in previous homes. Loved that they were sturdy, easy to install and did the job. Unfortunately I bought something from Bed Bath & Beyond and it was cheap. Found this rod and it is most similar to ones we purchased 10 years ago. Easy to install, very sturdy, great arc for the curtain. Very pleased

Works for what it is.
Bought this because I wanted a curved tension rod without drilling into the tile in my guest bathroom. This isn’t anything fancy and I’d say it’s overpriced for what it is based on a standard curved shower rods you can get for half the price, but it’s the only curved tension rod I could find. Note this is rust resistant and not rust proof like other rods that are available in aluminum. This rod has a brushed finish and mine was already scratched in a few places but it didn’t bother me enough to send it back. Where the two ends of the rod come together there is a two hole screw plate that was sloppily welded in place. These screws hold the two ends of the rod in place. Installation took less than 10 minutes from unboxing and was fairly hassle free. Again this is no frills but gets the job done for I needed for a guest bathroom.

The Product Description Does Not Mention The Minimum Length
The product description doesn't mention the shortest width that the rod will "shrink" to. I was not going to buy this until I saw someone's review that said the rod would compress to 43 1/2 inches. That is the exact width I need. Sadly, that reviewer is incorrect. 50" is the minimum. 72" is the maximum, by the way, since that isn't mentioned in the listing.Otherwise, the product looks good and feels very sturdy. We're just sorry we couldn't use it, or make it work. In case you are thinking that you can mount it "not perpendicular to the wall" to make it fit... you can't.TM

Works great and doesn't droop!
I searched for so long and this is literally the only curved tension-mounted shower rod I've found that stays tight and doesn't droop. Have had it up for about 5 or more months now. Makes the shower way roomier and gets super tight and doesn't budge. Easy to install by myself even. Only thing that I don't love is design-wise, the big gaps where the rod goes into the mounts. But otherwise a good looking rod.

Fully rusted within 8 month
The item is marketed as rust resistant which is not the case - see pictures. Fairly easy to install but not recommended based on the quality.

Completely satisfied and worth the money
My 50-year-old daughter installed it with the help of her 13-year-old son, but she told me if she absolutely had to she believes she could have done it by herself. I believe her son held it to make sure they got it good and tight on the wall. It completely covered up where the old curtain rod was screwed into the wall. It does not slip or slide at all and looks very nice. She did not use the screws she used the tension only and it fits very tightly. The main thing is, the shower curtain did not touch me during my shower. Finally, I can take a shower without the curtain grabbing a hold of me every time I turn around - lol!
