It works
The smell of the cat box is way better! It is expensive but I think it will save in the long run because it works so well.

Good and bad
Starting our second bag, 3rd fill up tomorrow. It is light, easy to handle and my husband likes that it easier to deal with. Just stir every day. But there are cons. It does track outside of the box, even finding it 40 feet away from the box. But the bigger chunks are easier to spot! 😉 My cat does have a thyroid problem so does drink a lot of water every day, maybe 6 ounces. I have found the last 4 days or so of the two weeks I am leaving it in the box, it really starts to smell. Yes, I could change more often but at the high price, I am trying to gut it out!

Love/Hate this litter. It's GREAT for only a week.
I've tried COUNTLESS cat litters so far (well, not countless, but easily over 30 kinds by now). This one, I'm very conflicted about. like the title says, I have a love/hate relationship with it. Why? Glad you asked (although I know you didn't).Pros:- The size of the pebbles is rather big, which means there is no litter tracking whatsoever (in the aspect of litter tracking, this is the best litter I've ever tried, bar-none).- It is rather light- Adequately low-dust- During first 7ish days, the odor control is phenomenal, not THE best I've tried, but probably top 3.- It's a funny material, kind of like rubbery rocksCons:- After 7-10 days, it starts getting FOUL (and yes, I was scooping solids and stirring it twice a day) [I also only have 1 cat]. By the 2 week mark, the smell was very noticeable, and by the third week, it was terrible, I think it never lasted me more than 20 days.- Considering the above point, we have to factor in price, since I was changing the litter 3-4 times every 2 months, that was close to $25 a month on litter, for a single cat, which is the most I've ever spent on litter.Oh, and oddly enough, my cat likes biting the little 'pebbles' when the litter is brand new. Such a weirdo.

Saves us a lot of time
It's pretty expensive but it really helps when things get hectic and you can't scoop the box every single day. No smells and the cat doesn't track litter EVERYWHERE like she does with normal litter. Honestly, for the sake of not have litter strung about the house, this stuff is worth it.And yes, we've even used all kinds of special mats in front of the box to try to cut down on how much litter was scattered with traditional litters, it helped minimally, but she still would get litter stuck between her toes and spread it around. Trust me, Skoon is a nice change of pace and will keep your house tidier.

Will not buy again.
This stuff is not good litter. It produces large amounts of dust and it doesn’t help with the smell. It gets everywhere and stepping on one piece is worse than stepping on a Lego.
