Impressive technology, great build quality, great looks and above all it's accurate.
When I spend my hard earned money I have no problem taking a product I buy to task to see if it lives up to it’s advertising. I had 2 motives when I bought this. I wanted an easy way to take my blood pressure with accuracy and I wanted to see if wrist band type devices were really an alternative to devices that I could only use at home.Read this with very careful consideration to your own reasons for why you would want this device. I’m an older man and have heart and other health issues that require monitoring. The instruments used in a doctors office and or hospital cost a 1000 times what this SmartBand does and they are designed for precision testing while being operated by a trained professional. With that said it would be completely illogical to expect this device to compare. Once you have set the expectation correctly of how the information this device provides can be of use and help to you then you will find that this is an exceptional device. It’s well made, fits comfortably and the band accommodates literally any wrist size.Setting it up is actually quite simple and easy to complete but requires a few steps in the proper order to get you up and running. For beginners charge the device immediately once you receive it. It only takes about an hour and that gives you ample time to read the enclosed instruction booklet and the additional insert regarding ECG and Blood Pressure monitoring. After charging the unit you now have to enter your personal data to set up and register the device using the app “FLYBAND” on your smart phone. When entering your sex, height, weight and so on confirm each entry by touching the “Sure” prompt. That is just how this device works. During the registration process you will be emailed a 4 digit code. That code gets entered when confirming your account and the same code gets entered again when you are asked for a “Moving Object” code. This is an important step to remember.Once your data is entered you continue the set up process. Blood Pressure and ECG settings require calibration so take you time and follow the steps in the app to assure that you get the best possible readings. Again this device is not equal to what your Doctor uses so keep your expectations in proper perspective to benefit from the information this device provides.Heart rate, Step (walking) and Sleep are preset measures that only require that you are wearing the device properly to capture this data. The Breath setting can be calibrated and the instructions in the app again are simple to follow. The next setting group is for the device itself. I have mine set for example so that I have to tap it lightly to read it. You can set it so that it turns on the display just by raising your wrist. Here is also where you set the display orientation to be vertical or horizontal, the time mode of 24 or 12 hours, resting alerts for those of us that sit too long and need a reminder to move around. Now for the best part. This SmartBand really works and it works well. I have tested my blood pressure on multiple monitoring devices and went as far as to compare it to the readings while I was in my Doctors office. This for me was the single most important reason for buying the band it it works better than my inflatable cuff type device I have been using for years. It was also compared to the pump type inflatable cuff method which a number of my doctors still use and the results were as close to an exact match as is possible. Again for the best results look at the directions especially the pictures that show how to properly get the best possible readings.Another priority for me was ECG monitoring. Once you have run the test the ECG takes the data and formulates a report covering 6 criteria of your test. If you are skilled at reading ECG data then you will impressed. For me the information it returned I had my Dr. translate and it proved to be acceptably accurate and of value considering it was gathered from a wrist worn device.I’m very happy that I purchased this for the ease of checking my blood pressure and ECG. It provides a wide selection of health data and costs about half of what I paid for a decent BP monitoring device. I am also using the alarms to get up and move around more along with the sleep information which also proves to be accurate. I never had the expectation that it would be perfect or that it would compete with the instruments available at my Dr’s office especially for the price but at the same time I am impressed to say the least at the accuracy and quantity of data it does provide. It defiantly outshines other devices in it’s class and has proven to be an excellent purchase.Final note, In the last few days I have done at least 100 BP and 100 ECG tests along with checking my steps, sleep time and calories burned and the battery is still at the half way mark. Under normal use the battery should easily last a week as advertised but for now I’m having too much fun because I am completely fascinated that technology like this is available at a price someone my age would have never imagined would be so affordable.

The wrist bracelet looks good. HR data (cardiac frequency) are recorded every 10 minutes in the program on the smartphone in (or on the band there is an opportunity to set another time interval - 30 or 60 minuttes through the smartphone) - this is a suitable function for controlling loading of the heart during exercise. But the checking BP is possible via smartphone only. Battery keeps about 7 days.

The sad part is that seems to work as described (from ...
I bought this with the hope of getting the heart wave and blood pressure features. I have had a couple issues with afib and was hoping this would give me more data. My current Fitbit will show the increased heartrate during afib, but not the waveform. The sad part is that seems to work as described (from my initial testing). But, the app is missing key features, like a way to set step goals (or any goals that I see). It starts with a daily goal of 100 steps and I don't see any way to change it. The app and manual are pretty clearly poorly translated Chinese.I think this could be a good product with some time improving the app and including more connectivity features.

Here’s the pun: Watch Out!
The two stars are purely just for the fact that they were fast at refunding my cash, minus the shipping charges, of course, along with the fact that it started out working fine. This is the first of two of these watches with this same electronic engine that I have purchased, and it was a bust. It came with enough life to verify it was working, and took a full charge. It worked beautifully until it died from this first charge. Then, you probably guessed it, nada, zip, zilch, big goose egg! It refused to take a second charge. The second watch was from a different seller, but had the same system.Buyer beware! It’s a great system with a promising outlook, if they can just get their power system to actually function!
