Cover buttons are great for sewing and crafting projects. Available in sizes 20(1/2), 24(5/8),30(3/4),36(7/8),45(1 1/8),60(1 1/2) and 75(1 7/8). Wire eyed backs work great for sewing projects, hair ties, bows and other items that need to be secured with thread or tided down. The flat backs are fantastic for glueing crafts, smaller sizes for earrings, shoe clips, larger sizes for Stethoscope IDs, magnets, barrettes, bookmarks... you get the idea if you need your own fabric to cover a button this is the product for you. Made in the USA with Aluminum and Stainless Steel sourced in North America(Canada).

These are fine. Read my method.
I used upholstery fabric, and it would have wrecked my thumbs to try to do it according to the instructions. For the first step, getting the front of the button down into the fabric in the button form would have been impossible, but I used a hammer and a cylinder the right size to tap the blue pusher into place. For adding the button back, I folded the fabric inwards (easy), and applied some hot glue with a glue gun, then applied the back piece while the glue was still warm. Then I positioned the round end of an angled combination wrench over the back. The button loop was short enough relative to the wrench that I could just tap the back snugly into place with the hammer. I pushed the finished button out right away, and let the glue cure overnight. It took an hour to do thirty buttons, no problem.

Worked perfectly!
I had very bad memories of trying to cover buttons years ago, but thought I'd give these a try. I was covering wicker chair cushions with upholstery fabric and after reading the reviews was concerned that it would be too heavy and require hot glue to keep the buttons closed. I followed the excellent directions, using the pattern and the "tool" that came along with the set and found success! No hot glue required. I'm wondering if some of the reviewers did not use the pattern and just used judgment on the size. I speak from experience because I didn't think I needed to use that and ended up trimming the edges after having difficulty pressing the tool down to secure the button. Once I used the pattern - it worked perfectly! Cushions look great and the covered buttons really finished them nicely.

Great buttons for tufting headboards!
I bought these buttons, in the 45 size, to use for a custom headboard project for a personal client. I needed 52 buttons total and figured the 100 pack would be perfect Incase there were defective pieces. The good: The buttons that did snap into place held together beautifully and confidently. I was able to pull them pretty tight for the tufting with no give. I would recommend using a non stretch nylon string if using for furniture purchases as they will not stretch out over time for repeated use. They are true to size at just a hair bigger than a US Quarter which was exactly what my client wanted. The kits comes with 100 eye-loop backs, 100 covers, a pusher, and silicon holder. This product is manufactured in the USA which is always a plus for me as I love supporting great businesses especially ones that help put food on the table for hard working Americans. The bad: Depending on your fabric type, the stainless steel will “shine” through. I was using a lighter type of upholstery fabric that had no stretch and with only one layer of fabric, you could clearly see the metal through the material. I included the best picture I could of this, but it was very noticeable in person. This means I had to double up my fabric. If your fabric is of a lightweight construction, you may need to add a second layer while applying.Upon doubling my fabric, the pusher that was included in the package gave out on me after only 11 buttons. The inside edges of the plastic began to curl inward rendering it useless. I fixed this by tailing along to the store with my husband and buying a PVC coupling that fit in the groves on the back of the button. I was back in business. If your fabric is of heavyweight quality, you may have premature failure of the pusher.I was able to complete 56 buttons in about an hour, with a caffeine break in between and using two layers of the fabric per button.Only two backs failed on me, and bent before settling in place, this happened for unknown reasons, as I hadn’t done anything differently up until that point. Overall, I’d say that is still pretty good given the quality I’ve experienced in the past.I would purchase this item again, however I would like the pusher to be of better quality as I am not the only one to experience it damaging under load. The PVC worked great for me and didn’t have any issues under stress. I would be willing, as a consumer, to pay more for a better quality tool kit to be included. I had no issues with the silicone holder. This product exceeded my expectations for the cost. I would repurchase this item for future projects.

Nice Buttons, Easy to Assemble
I purchased a set of the size 45 buttons with the wire eye. They seem very sturdy and the included tool makes them very easy to assemble. I can't believe I was thinking about buying an expensive button making tool! This method is probably faster and fits in a drawer. The description says not to use the buttons with upholstery fabric. I did anyway because no one tells me what to do. They worked perfectly fine, even though the fabric I used was quite thick. The blue plastic punch wore out when I was about half way through making the buttons (probably because I was working with upholstery fabric). I discovered that a male threaded pipe fitting was the same size and worked even better than the included punch. You can buy them for a few bucks at any hardware store. Or the button people sell replacement tools separately on their website.I was originally sent a package of buttons with the plain back by mistake. I contacted the seller through their email. They were very nice and sent me out the correct backs immediately. I bought a larger set through their website which is a bit cheaper. They arrived today and look good. I made a plain backed button just for fun an it worked as well as the ones with wire eyes.

Boutons à recouvrir.
Les boutons ne restent pas fermé , dès que l'on tire sur le fil pour les coudrent ils se détachent. IMPOSSIBLE de les fixer à un coussin.
