I still hand type all my bosses emails. This equipment works great for this purpose! The download program also stores all the old files in its archive.

Right out of the box this product failed to charge or work at all

Doesn't tell you not compatible with Mac
First, I should say that this dictation system is pretty good. An associate of mine used it quite frequently and it was convenient and effective. This is why I purchased it for my practice.The problem? NOWHERE does Amazon.ca tell you that this is NOT compatible with Mac. I found this out only AFTER downloading the software and went to run it...couldn't run as it wasn't compatible. I've sent an email directly to Philips as well as I feel it's incumbent upon both themselves and third party retailers to ensure that ALL information about the product is disclosed.I'm returning the product and am facing a less than productive weekend because of the lack of information provided. Not impressed.

Didn't work as expected
Nice hardware but the software was simply compatible with MacOS Catalina 10.15.2
