Q: Can I dry it in the dryer?

Absolutely. I don't put any of my clothes on high heat so I don't know how it is with that. I also wash it with the clothes not with the towels. It will shrink if you put it in too much. I got it two sizes larger for my grandchildren and it's fit them for 2 years. We're getting new ones this year.

Q: Does length include hood?

No it doesnt. I got a size 10 for my grandson. He is 49 inches tall and 52lbs. It comes just below his knees.

Q: what is the material content?

I don't think it says but it feels like it is mostly cotton and a slight bit of polyester.
